Hello, From an 8 year chronic issue, Amapachak is not usually something i would view as a take until totally cured forever solution. It may support digestion symptomatically, but chronic indigestion usually needs deeper correction of digestive fire and routine How long? -often 6-8 weeks is a reasonable period to assess wheather a digestive support is helping -for chronic patterns , broader management may take 2-3 months or more to see steadier change Internal management 1) Avipathi churna= 1/2 tsp twice daily before meals =classical digestive support 2) Triphala tablets= 2 tabs at bedtime daily with warm water =may support digestion and bowel regularity 3) Dadimasthtaka churna= 1/2 tsp with buttermilk after meals -traditional support in weak digestion Diet -fixed meal timings -warm, freshly cooked meals -avoid overeatin late night heavy meals -ginger in food will help Focus on correcting digestion, not only using amapachak long term reassess response after 6-8 weeks Yoga -pawanmuktasana -vajrasana -bhujangasana -setu bandhasana -anulom vilom Do follow Hope this might be helpful Thank you

Dabur Aampachak syrup is mainly for temporary relief (gas, heaviness, indigestion). In a long-standing issue like yours (8 years), it cannot correct the root cause if taken continuously. You can use it for 2–4 weeks, but not as a long-term permanent solution. If you stop and symptoms return, it means digestion (Agni) still needs correction. Focus on improving digestion naturally: Eat at fixed timings Avoid overeating and late-night meals Reduce very oily, fried, and heavy foods Take warm water instead of cold At home: Jeera (cumin) water after meals Small piece of ginger with a pinch of salt before food Avipattikar tablet – 1 tablet before dinner Hingwashtak churna – ½ teaspoon with first bite of meals Triphala tablet – 1 tablet at bedtime Gradually reduce Aampachak and shift to this routine. With consistency, digestion improves and dependency reduces. Regards, Dr Raghuveer (Ayurvedacharya)
