How to improve low blood count naturally without long-term iron injections? - #54253
My relative has a very low blood count (around 19) and has been taking Garden cress seeds (halim seeds) for the past 10 days. However, she is still constantly tired. Is this enough to improve her condition, or should we do something more? Doctors in allopathy are recommending iron injections long-term, but we are concerned about lifelong dependency (like insulin). We are looking for a more permanent solution. What would you suggest?

This condition relates to Rakta Kshaya (deficiency of blood) and weak agni (digestion). If digestion is poor, even good foods won’t build blood. 1. Improve Digestion Take light, warm, easy-to-digest food Use ginger + cumin + ajwain before meals Avoid tea/coffee immediately after food (blocks iron absorption) 2. Natural Blood-Building Diet Pomegranate juice daily Black raisins (soaked overnight) Beetroot + carrot juice Dates, figs Green leafy vegetables (spinach, moringa) Continue halim seeds, but not alone 3. Rx A) Tab Punarnava Mandur- 2 tab twice a day B)tab Navayas Lauh- 1 tab twice a day C) Draksharishta- 15 ml twice a day D) tab Amyron - 1 tab twice a day after meal These help increase hemoglobin naturally and sustainably 4. Lifestyle Adequate rest Gentle yoga + breathing (Pranayama) Avoid stress and late nights
