How to lower my level of red blood cells? I currently take two Ekaweriya capsules a day for high blood pressure but recently my nose started bleeding and I my mean cell volume (VCM) is at 98 fl/l.

This is not just a simple imbalance to treat at home. High BP + increased RBC + recent nosebleeds can indicate a serious blood-related condition (Rakta dushti / possible polycythemia) and needs proper medical evaluation first. What to do first (very important) Get CBC, hematocrit, hemoglobin checked again Review your current medicine (Ekaweriya) with doctor Do not try to “reduce RBC” on your own Ayurvedic view This condition is related to Rakta vriddhi + Pitta aggravation (heat in blood causing bleeding). Supportive Ayurvedic care 1. Cooling & blood-balancing herbs: Amla juice (20 ml daily) Giloy + Neem (under guidance) Praval pishti / Mukta pishti (only if prescribed) 2. Diet (Pitta calming): Take: coconut water, pomegranate, cucumber, leafy greens Avoid: spicy, fried food, alcohol, red meat excess 3. Lifestyle: Stay cool, avoid heat/sun exposure Practice Sheetali pranayama Proper hydration
