Treatment focuses on Rasayana (rejuvenation) using herbs like Amla, Triphala, and Yashtimadhu, which nourish and protect the eyes. Therapies such as Netra Tarpana with medicated ghee help lubricate and strengthen the eyes, while Nasya improves nerve function related to vision. Diet rich in ghee, amla, milk, and almonds, along with eye-rest practices like Trataka, supports natural improvement of eyesight. —Internal Medicines: Triphala Churna – 5 g at bedtime with lukewarm water Amla Rasayana / Chyawanprash – 1 tsp twice daily with milk Saptamrit Lauh – 125 mg twice daily after food Mahatikt ghrit 1 tsf after meal twice daily 2. Nasya Therapy: Anu Taila Nasya – 2–2 drops in each nostril Morning time, empty stomach Course: 14 days - Improves optic nerve function and clears head channels (Shirovaha srotas) 3. External Therapy Netra Tarpana with Triphala Ghrita( under supervision) Once weekly for 5–7 sittings - Strengthens and lubricates eyes 4. Diet Advice: Use: ghee, milk, amla, soaked almonds, green vegetables Avoid: spicy food, fried items, excess screen exposure, night waking 5. Lifestyle: Practice Trataka (candle gazing) daily 5–10 min Adequate sleep (minimum 7–8 hours) Eye rest during prolonged screen use
