Hello, Your issue is very common today, and the good part is- it’s reversible to a good extent if managed properly What’s Happening You have -long term eye strain -dry eyes -difficulty reading -increasing power (0.50->0.75) This suggest -computer vision syndrome + dry eyes + early refractive progression Main Root cause Not taking breaks + prolonged screen/reading You mentioned= rarely take breaks This is the biggest reason for -eye strain -dryness -increasing number Internal management 1) Eye lubrication (most important) -Triphala ghrita= 1/2 tsp with warm milk at bedtime =nourishes eyes internally 2) Dry eye relief -Use preservative free lubricating eye drops (modern) Ayurveda alone is not enough for dryness External care -Triphala water wash= wash eyes once daily mild, filtered 20-20-20 Rule (game changer) -Every 20 minutes -look 20 feet away -for 20 seconds This alone can reduce 50% strain Eye exercises -palmin (rub hands, place on eyes) -blinking consciously -eye rotation Diet for eyes -ghee small amount daily -carrot, spinach -almonds soaked Hydration -drink enough water Avoid -excess screen at night -continuous reading without breaks Sleep -very important for eye recovery 7-8 hours daily Expected results -2 weeks= dryness reduces -3-4 weeks= strain improves -long term= power progression slows Important Glasses are Not harmful continue using them But -don’t expect power to go back to zero completely Your condition -digital eye strain + dry eyes Solution -reduce screen strain -lubricate eyes -follow eye routine daily Do follow Hope this might be helpful Thank you
