एक आयुर्वेदिक चिकित्सक के दृष्टिकोण से, मैं आपको कुछ सुरक्षित और प्रभावी प्राथमिक उपचार, आयुर्वेदिक औषधियां और जीवनशैली में बदलाव के सुझाव दे रहा हूँ: ​1. प्राथमिक घरेलू उपचार (Home Remedies) ​त्रिफला जल से आँखें धोना (Netra Prakshalan): ​एक चम्मच त्रिफला चूर्ण को एक गिलास साफ पानी में रातभर के लिए भिगो दें। ​सुबह इस पानी को एक साफ बारीक कपड़े से 3-4 बार अच्छी तरह छान लें (ताकि त्रिफला का कोई भी कण पानी में न रहे)। ​इस ठंडे पानी से दिन में दो बार अपनी आँखें धोएं या आई-कप (Eye cup) की मदद से आँखों को साफ करें। यह आँखों की लाली, जलन और चिपकने को कम करने में बहुत प्रभावी है। ​गुलाब जल (Rose Water): ​प्योर आयुर्वेदिक गुलाब जल (बिना प्रिजर्वेटिव या अल्कोहल वाला) की 2-2 बूंदें दिन में तीन बार आँखों में डालें। इससे गर्मी और लाली में तुरंत आराम मिलता है। ​ठंडी सिकाई: ​आँखों पर साफ सूती कपड़े को ठंडे पानी में भिगोकर रखें, या खीरे (Cucumber) के स्लाइस काट कर आँखों पर 10 मिनट के लिए रखें। इससे धूप और गर्मी के कारण होने वाली जलन शांत होगी। ​2. आयुर्वेदिक औषधियां (Internal & Topical Medicine) ​आप किसी नजदीकी आयुर्वेदिक स्टोर से ये क्लासिकल दवाएं ले सकते हैं: ​सप्ताह्मृत लौह (Saptamrit Lauh): 1-1 गोली सुबह-शाम हल्के गुनगुने पानी या शहद के साथ लें। यह आँखों के विकारों के लिए सबसे श्रेष्ठ रसायन माना जाता है। ​त्रिफला घृत (Triphala Ghrita): आधा चम्मच त्रिफला घृत गुनगुने दूध के साथ रात को सोते समय लें। यह आँखों के भीतर बढ़े हुए पित्त और रूखेपन को शांत करता है। जीवनशैली और आहार में बदलाव (Do’s & Don’ts) ​धूप और गर्मी से बचाव: जब भी धूप में बाहर निकलें, यूवी-प्रोटेक्टेड (UV protected) धूप का चश्मा (Sunglasses) जरूर पहनें। ठंडी हवा और सीधी धूप से आँखों को बचाएं। ​आँखों को बार-बार न छुएं: आँखों में खुजली होने पर उन्हें हाथों से रगड़ें (Rub) नहीं। इससे इन्फेक्शन और बढ़ सकता है। हाथ हमेशा साफ रखें। ​स्क्रीन टाइम कम करें: मोबाइल, लैपटॉप या टीवी का इस्तेमाल कम से कम करें, क्योंकि इनकी ब्लू लाइट से आँखों की गर्मी और लाली बढ़ जाती है। ​आहार: ज्यादा तीखा, मसालेदार, खट्टा (अचार, चाट) और गर्म तासीर वाले भोजन से परहेज करें। मिश्री का पानी, सौंफ का पानी, और ठंडी तासीर वाले फल (जैसे तरबूज, अनार) का सेवन करें।

यह लक्षण एलर्जिक कंजंक्टिवाइटिस, ड्राय आई या आंखों की सूजन जैसे हो सकते हैं। आंखों में बार-बार पानी, चिपकना, ज्यादा लाल होना और कंकड़ जैसा लगना हो तो एक बार नेत्र विशेषज्ञ को दिखाना जरूरी है। आयुर्वेदिक उपचार त्रिफला क्वाथ से आंख धोएं सुबह-शाम ठंडा करके। पद्मकादि आई ड्रॉप या आईटोन आई ड्रॉप 2-2 बूंद दिन में 2 बार। सप्तामृत लौह 1 गोली सुबह-शाम घी या शहद के साथ। हरिद्रा खंड 1 चम्मच सुबह-शाम गुनगुने पानी से। धूप, धूल, मोबाइल और AC हवा से बचें। आंखों पर ठंडे पानी की पट्टी करें।
