For your father with COPD: Since he is mostly stable and symptoms increase mainly with dust, coughing, or seasonal changes, the focus should be on protecting the lungs and reducing irritation. Avoid dust exposure, smoke, cold air, and strong smells. Continue inhalers regularly as advised by his doctor. At home: Warm water regularly Steam inhalation once daily if suitable Turmeric + small pinch of black pepper in warm milk can help support lungs Sitopaladi churna – ½ teaspoon with honey twice daily Talisadi churna – ½ teaspoon twice daily after food Chyawanprash – 1 teaspoon daily morning These can support respiratory strength and reduce seasonal aggravation. For your father-in-law with Parkinson’s: Ayurveda can help mainly as supportive care for stiffness, tremors, sleep, and strength along with ongoing neuro treatment. Important: Do not stop his current Parkinson’s medicines. Daily oil massage on hands, legs, and feet with warm sesame or Mahanarayan oil can help stiffness and circulation. Encourage: Regular walking support Balance exercises carefully Soft, nourishing warm food Good sleep routine Ashwagandha tablet – 1 tablet at bedtime Brahmi vati – 1 tablet twice daily Ksheerbala capsule/oil support if available Since falls are happening, safety and physiotherapy are very important.
