Hi Karunakara,

Can you tell me if you experience any digestive issues, like bloating or acidity, after eating specific foods? Also, how is your stress level and sleep quality? The combination of body heat, hair loss, and joint pain suggests an imbalance in your body’s internal systems, which Ayurveda can address through cooling herbs, dietary adjustments, and lifestyle changes to balance heat and reduce inflammation.

Dear Karunakara,

I’m sorry to hear about the health challenges you’re experiencing. Your symptoms, including excessive body heat, hair loss, joint discomfort, burning eyes, and sensitivity to certain foods, suggest a possible imbalance in Pitta dosha, according to Ayurvedic principles. Pitta governs metabolism and digestion and is associated with heat and intensity. When aggravated, it can lead to the symptoms you’ve described. But if want u can suggest you treatment for the above complaints let me know

It sounds like you’re dealing with some pesky vatha dosha imbalances, which can create a lot of heat—our sometimes unwelcome friend! The body heat you’re experiencing may be connected to an excess of pitta, which is usually aggravated by intense, spicy foods like curries with redgrams and moong dal. These can definitely stir up the fire inside, making things feel a bit too heated.

Okay, so simple tips here: cool things down. Drop the spicy hot foods for a bit. Focus on cooling, sweet, stabilizing foods. Think coconut water or aloe vera juice. It’s like an internal AC, you know? You could also try basmati rice, cucumbers, sweet fruits like grapes, and milk (if you’re not lactose sensitive). They tend to balance pitta and cool excessive heat.

For your joints, gently warming massages with sesame oil every few days might help. Just be gentle and let your body soak in the nourishment. A bit of turmeric - or curcuma longa, helps reduce inflammation, so mixing a pinch of it in warm milk before bed is a nice calming ritual.

About the burning eyes, try washing your eyes with cool rose water. It’s soothing and helps reduce the fire in them. It might provide a little temporary relief. And please reduce screen time if possible… screens ain’t the best pals to burning eyes!

With ED, it can be a little complex, yeah? But strengthening your rasayana with rejuvenating herbs like Ashwagandha could help. It’s worth exploring this gently, perhaps with the guidance of a practitioner if you can.

Remember, consistency is key with Ayurveda. It took the body some time to get here, and it’ll take a bit of patient effort to balance things back. Always keep in mind to consult a physician before making any significant changes, especially with ongoing symptoms like those.
