ACC to the pts symptoms,pt requires urgent hospitalisation
In the context of liver cirrhosis with elevated creatinine levels (2.8) and an unconscious state, immediate medical intervention is crucial due to the possibility of acute kidney injury or other complications. As an Ayurvedic practitioner, I have to stress the urgent necessity to follow the guidance of a qualified healthcare professional to manage this critical condition effectively. However, I can offer some insights from an Ayurvedic perspective which might be supportive in the long-term management of the liver health and overall balance.
For liver cirrhosis, the main focus in Ayurveda would be on balancing the pitta dosha, as liver is a pitta-dominant organ. However, when speaking about acute situations and especially in an unconscious state, it is imperative that this patient receives conventional emergency care first. Follow-up with Ayurveda can support long-term recovery and maintenance.
In terms of supporting renal health and promoting normal urination, once the patient is stabilised, Ayurveda may recommend formulations like Punarnava (Boerhavia diffusa) which is known to support kidney function. But, its use has to be guided by thorough case assessment after stabilization.
The fact that they are not eating and unconscious makes feeding any oral remedies unsafe. Instead, once they regains consciousness and are stable, a diet that’s easy on the liver like khichdi (lentil and rice porridge), or simple boiled vegetables might be slowly introduced as per the attending doctor’s guidance.
Abdominal pain and distention could be alleviated long-term by ensuring regular, safe elimination of toxins through herbal preparations and panchakarma therapies like virechana (therapeutic purgation), but again, only when they are stable and under supervision of a healthcare professional.
Achieving balance in the diet post-recovery will be crucial. Avoiding very oily, spicy foods and alcohol while focusing on a comprehensive liver-friendly diet is important. Light meals, plenty of fluids, and incorporating gentle digestive spices like cumin, coriander seeds, and turmeric could be beneficial.
Given the seriousness of the condition described, this advice is meant to be complementary and considered only when the acute issues are sufficiently managed by conventional medicine.
