Persistent infection may be due to the antibiotics which you are taking might not be responding . Because of pregnancy due to Harmonal changes it can increase the vaginal discharge and make harder to clear the infection Better once you consult your OBSTETRICIAN and take proper treatment…keep the area clean Meanwhile check your sugar levels

Excessive yellow discharge and itching during pregnancy are usually caused by vaginal infections . In Ayurveda, this condition is referred to as “Yoni Dushti”, which is mainly linked to an imbalance of Pitta and Kapha doshas.

U shall have definite relief doing Herbal Remedies:

1. Neem Usage:

Boil neem leaves in water, let it cool, and use this water to wash the vaginal area. Applying neem oil can help relieve infection.

2.Triphala Decoction:

Boil Triphala powder in water, let it cool, and use it to cleanse the vaginal area.

Instead taking medication from GP take a gynaecologist consultation.

It sounds like you’re experiencing persistent symptoms even after medical treatment. Sometimes these cases need a deeper look into underlying imbalances, particularly through an Ayurvedic lens. The yellow discharge and itchiness might indicate an imbalance in Pitta and Kapha doshas. It’s essential, though, to continue staying in close contact with your healthcare provider given you’re 12 weeks pregnant - safety should always come first.

In Ayurveda, managing such imbalances can include dietary, lifestyle adjustments, and herbal remedies. First, considering diet, aim to reduce any heat-inducing foods. Spicy, oily, and heavily processed foods can aggravate Pitta, potentially worsening the situation. Instead, incorporate cooling foods like cucumber, cilantro, and coconut water. Foods that promote healthy kapha balance include barley, rice, and cooked vegetables.

Hydration is another crucial factor. Sufficient water intake can help flush out toxins. To help restore balance, a simple remedy can be drinking warm water with a few drops of lime throughout the day.

Herbal-wise, something like Triphala can be beneficial. It’s known for its mild detoxifying effects, helping to cleanse the system. Though safe in moderate use, consult with a practitioner who knows specifics about its use during pregnancy.

Furthermore, consider gentle yoga and pranayama practices to enhance blood circulation and ease energy flow. Simple poses, like cat-cow and butterfly, may support your body’s natural rhythm without being harsh during pregnancy.

Topically, soothing coconut oil infused with a little turmeric may alleviate discomfort. Ensuring any topical applications are gentle and tested on a small skin patch first is always wise.

Though these suggestions can complement existing medical treatments, they aren’t substitutes for professional medical advice, especially in pregnancy. If symptoms persist or worsen, it is critical to re-consult your GP for further evaluation.
