Dealing with 15mm gallstones can be a tricky business, but let’s delve into Ayurveda’s perspective on it. The formation of gallstones, in the Ayurvedic view, is often linked to an imbalance in Pitta dosha. It’s important not just to manage the gallstones, but to restore balance and enhance your digestive fire, or ‘Agni’.

First off, Diet is key. Aim for a Pitta-pacifying diet. This includes eating cooling, hydrating foods and avoiding spicy, oily, and fried items. Incorporate more fresh fruits (like apples, pears) and vegetables into your meals. Avoid heavy-to-digest foods, and drink plenty of warm water throughout the day. You could drink apple juice as it helps to soften gallstones, they say.

Next, incorporate Ayurvedic herbs. While Hepakind 300 is your current regimen, perhaps talk to your physician about including herbs like turmeric and Triphala. Turmeric is known for its anti-inflammatory properties, while Triphala assists in regular bowel movements and cleansing. Dosage should be consulted closely with a professional.

As for lifestyle, engaging in regular but moderate exercise stimulates your digestive system. Practice yoga, especially postures like Bhujangasana and Dhanurasana that assists digestive health. Breathing exercises (Pranayama) can balance your mind and help with sleep.

Regarding your sleep issue, establish a consistent sleep routine. Try some warm water with a pinch of nutmeg before going to bed, it might help in promoting good sleep. Keep the electronics away at least an hour before bedtime to signal your body that it’s time to relax.

Avoid taking to much stress, as it aggravates Pitta. Meditation and mindfulness activities can be beneficial here. Consistency and patience with these practices is often key. Most importantly, any significant medical decisions, including potential surgical solutions, should be discussed with your healthcare provider. If you ever feel severe pain, fever, or jaundice, seek emergency medical attention without delay.
