Hey there, sounds like your throat’s been giving you quite a hard time, huh? The Indian wisdom of Ayurveda might shed some light and bring relief to that sensitive throat of yours. Let’s tackle this from it’s roots by considering your doshas — because it sure seems like there’s an imbalance at play.

So, here’s the story: your symptoms kinda suggest a Vata and maybe Pitta imbalance causing the sensitivity and cough in your throat and lungs. Vata leads to dryness and sensitivity, while Pitta, with its heat, could cause inflammation. Aiming to pacify these might be our best bet.

You should consider regularly sipping on warm water throughout the day. Add a small slice of ginger or a pinch of turmeric to it, because these knick back inflammation and support digestion. And hey – ginger’s like the all-rounder for respiratory complications in Ayurveda. But do remember, moderation’s the key.

Trick is, keep things soothing. Gargle with warm salt water, add a pinch of turmeric if possible, mixing them in warm water. Do this twice a day: it can create a calming effect on an irritated throat. And if you’re feeling adventurous, try warm milk with turmeric and a dash of black pepper at night. It’s pretty much your golden remedy!

For your diet, avoid cold foods or drinks. Stay away from heavy, oily, and fried foods – they could increase Kapha and create more congestion. If things get spicy, cut back a bit. Favor more of sweet, bitter, and astringent taste. You can fill your plate with things like cooked greens, whole grains, or soups.

A little breathing exercise or pranayama, like Anulom Vilom, may aid in opening up your respiratory pathway. It’s easy but super effective. Just ensure you do it slowly.

If your symptoms persists or get worse, really—don’t wait around. Seek immediate medical attention, it keeps things safe okay? There’s no fun in letting it slide. Ayurveda is holistic but within it’s scope.

Hope it makes sense? Keep me posted on your wellness journey, would love to hear how it’s going!
