To address your acidity and accompanying symptoms through Ayurveda, it’s vital to focus on balancing the aggravation of Pitta dosha. Often, an imbalance in Pitta can lead to hyperacidity, affecting both digestion and general comfort levels.

Start by examining your diet: favour cool, calming foods like cucumbers, melons, and leafy greens. These help pacify Pitta. Avoid hot, spicy, or oily preparations as they can exacerbate your condition. Prefer steaming rather than frying, and incorporate foods with a natural sweetness—they’re soothing and grounding for Pitta.

Timing meals also matter; don’t skip meals, and try to eat at the same time daily. Include lighter meals, especially during evening hours. Drink plenty of water, but avoid ice-cold drinks, which can disturb your digestive agni (fire); instead, sip on lukewarm water throughout your day, which helps in maintaining a balance.

Additionally, Ayurvedic herbs such as Amalaki (emblica officinalis) or licorice have calming effects on hyperacidity. Amalaki can be taken in powder form with a bit of honey in the morning on an empty stomach for soothing relief. Yet if you feel discomfort or aren’t sure about right amounts, reach out to a practitioner for more tailored dosages.

Lifestyle adjustments are crucial too. Establishing a regular bedtime routine can support better digestion; try winding down with light breathing exercises or guided meditations, particularly Pranayama - Nadi Shodhana (Alternate Nostril Breathing) - known to reduce anxiety and improve breath control.

Since stress might be playing a role in your symptoms, implementing practices that promote tranquility can be beneficial. Engage in daily activities that foster relaxation—short walks in nature or practices like Yoga are not only supportive for the spine but also help in alleviating tension.

By customizing these suggestions to your day-to-day life, you gradually enhance your body’s natural resilience to stress and imbalance, potentially easing not just your acidity but related discomforts over time. However, due to experiencing anxiety and breathing difficulties, it’s crucial to consult with a healthcare professional immediately to rule out or address any serious conditions.
