Complementing this, I have also completed six months of clinical training in Ayurveda and Panchakarma, focusing on natural detoxification and rejuvenation therapies. During this time, I gained practical experience in classical Ayurvedic treatments, including Abhyanga, Basti, Shirodhara, and other Panchakarma modalities. I strongly believe in a patient-centric approach that blends the wisdom of Ayurveda with the clinical precision of modern medicine for optimal outcomes. Additionally, I hold certification in Garbha Sanskar, a specialized Ayurvedic discipline aimed at promoting holistic wellness during pregnancy. Prevention

To help prevent and treat vaginal discharge:

Keep your genital area clean and dry. Avoid soap and rinse with water only. Sitting in a warm, but not hot, bath may help your symptoms.

Avoid douching. Although many women feel cleaner if they douche after menstruation or intercourse, it may actually worsen vaginal discharge because it removes healthy bacteria lining the vagina that protect against infection.

Eat yogurt with live cultures or take Lactobacillus acidophilus tablets when you are on antibiotics to prevent a yeast infection.

Use condoms to avoid catching or spreading sexually transmitted infection (STI).

Avoid using feminine hygiene sprays, fragrances, or powders in the genital area.

Avoid wearing extremely tight-fitting pants or shorts, which may cause irritation.

Wear cotton underwear or cotton-crotch pantyhose. Avoid underwear made of silk or nylon, because these materials are not very absorbant and restrict air flow. This can increase sweating in the genital area, which can cause irritation.

Use pads and not tampons.

Keep your blood sugar levels under good control if you have diabetes. 1 pushyanuga churna -3 gm+Pradarantaka rasa-125mg+ vanga bhasma-125mg+spatika bhasma-500mg+shuddha gandhaka-250mg mix and take in morning 2- Darvyadi kashaya -4tsf- 2 time after food Wash vagina with panchavalkal kashaya

HELLO PUJA,

A) WHITE VAGINAL DISCHARGE -this is non itchy, milky or water discharge from vagina that occurs before or after your periods -In Ayurveda, it’s called shwetapradara, caused mainly due to kapha dosha imbalance -it can also be triggered by weak digestion, low reproductive energy, or stress

Just like excess oil comes out when food is overcooked, your body pushes out extra white fluid when internal balance is disturbed

B) SCANTY AND PROLONGED MENSTRUAL FLOW -you get normal flow for 3-4 days, then light spotting up to day 7-8 -this is due to apana vata disturbance, the energy responsible for downward movement in the pelvis -sometimes linked to hormonal imbalance, stress, weakness, or incomplete shedding of the uterus lining.

TREATMENT GOALS -balance doshas= mainly kapha and apana vata - improves uterine tone= strengthen the reproductive system - detoxify body= removes toxins that contribute to imbalance -restore proper digestion= healthy digestion supports reproductive hormones -normalize periods= ensure timely and complete flow

AYURVEDIC MEDICATIONS

A) FOR WHITE VAGINAL DISCHARGE

1) PUSHYANUG CHURNA= 1 tsp with honey twice daily before food for 1-2 months = stops white discharge, strengthen uterus

2) PATRANGASAVA= 15ml with equal water after meals twice daily for 3 months = balances hormones, reduces discharge

3) LODHRA CHURNA= 1 tsp with lukewarm water once daily in evening = dries excess discharge

4) TRIPHALA CHURNA= 1 tsp at night with warm water =detoxifies and improves digestion

B) FOR SCANTY PROLONGED MENSTRUATION

1) ASHOKARISHTA= 15 ml with equal water twice daily after meals for 3 months = strengthens uterine muscles, regulate flow

2) DASHMOOLA KWATHA= 20 ml. twice daily before meals with water for 3 months =relieves pain, supports apana vata

3) KUMARYASAVA= 15 ml with equal water after meals for 2 months =helps with hormonal balance and menstrual flow

GENERAL DIET PLAN

EAT -warm, home cooked meals - moong dal, rice, khichdi -ghee in small quantity-nourishes reproductive tissues -cooked vegetables-bottle gourd, ridge gourd, pumpkin -herbal teas= fennel, cumin, coriander -fresh fruits=pomegrante, papaya not during periods, amla - soaked almonds=4-5 daily

AVOID -curd especially at night - cold drinks, refrigerated food - fried, oily, junk food - excess sour=tamrind, vinegar and spicy food - excess sugar-cakes/sweets - processed foods, white bread, and noodles

LIFESTYLE -wake up early, preferably before 7 am - avoid sleeping during day - stay physically active- sedentary habits worsen symptoms -avoid mental stress, overthinking, and emotional trauma - don’t suppress natural urges-urine, stool, gas - during menstruation, avoid heavy exercise or lifting

YOGA AND PELVIC FLOOR EXERCISES

Do these 4-5 days/week (except during periods)

-Baddha konasana= improves circulation in pelvic area -Supta baddha konasana= relaxes uterus, relieves discharge -Setu bandhasana= tones uterus -Paschimottanasana= regulates apana vata -Viparita karani= restores pelvic balance -Mool bandha(pelvic floor tightening)= strengthens muscles and reduce discharge

PRANAYAM -nadi sodhana=balances hormones -Bhramari Pranayam= calms mind, reduces stress induced issues

HOME REMEDIES

1) MEETHI SEED WATER - soak 1 tsp methi seeds overnight in water -boil in the morning, strain and drink on empty stomach =reduces discharge, improves digestion

2) RICE WATER WITH LODHRA CHURNA -boil rice, collect the starchy water(kanji) -add 1 tsp of lodhra churna drink warm =stops white discharge, strengthen uterus

3) AMLA JUICE+ALOE VERA -mix 1 tbsp amla juice+1 tbsp Aloe vera juice -take once in morning on empty stomach = cleanses reproductive system, balances hormones

4) POMEGRANATE PEEL POWDER -dry pomegrante peels, grind to powder -take 1/2 tsp with honey once daily = uterine tonic

Be patient with your body, Ayurveda works like nature-slowly, steadily and deeply. Healing will happen from within

DO FOLLOW CONSISTENTLY

HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL

THANK YOU

Your concerns reflect what might be imbalances in the vaginal flora and possibly a certain dosha imbalance. White discharge, or leucorrhea, in Ayurveda can be linked to Kapha dosha imbalances. It’s crucial that, first and foremost, you rule out any infectious or more serious conditions by consulting with a healthcare professional.

For addressing the white discharge, focus on balancing Kapha. Drinking warm water infused with dry ginger or cinnamon might be beneficial. These herbs help in reducing excess Kapha. Consider adding Trikatu— a blend of black pepper, long pepper, and ginger— into your diet as it’s known to stimulate Agni and help in reducing excess moisture. Stay away from heavy, oily, and excessively sweet foods that could aggravate Kapha.

The practice of wearing clean, dry underwear as you are doing is excellent. Ensure also you’re consuming enough fiber-rich foods to maintain digestive health, as constipation could inadvertently worsen any Kapha imbalance.

Concerning your menstrual flow—it’s not uncommon for menstrual flow to vary. A scanty flow toward the end of the cycle may not indicate a problem, but if you’re concerned, aim to enhance Pitta dosha, which governs blood flow including menstruation. Consider incorporating spices like turmeric and saffron into your meals, and drinking aloe vera juice on an empty stomach to support healthy menstruation.

Moreover, maintaining a regular sleep schedule and moderate exercise, like walking or yoga, can help stabilize dosha balance and support better hormonal function.

If the symptoms persist or worsen, consulting an Ayurvedic practitioner for a personalized treatment plan or a medical professional for an evaluation is vital. Avoid delaying critical medical attention if there is any worsening or additional symptoms such as pain or fever.

Dr. Snehal Vidhate
I am Dr. Snehal Vidhate, born n brought up in Maharashtra—and honestly, for as long as I remember I’ve felt this pull towards Ayurveda. Not the fancy version ppl throw around, but the deep, real kind that actually helps ppl. I did my BAMS from YMT Ayurvedic Medical College in Kharghar. That’s where I got my basics strong—like really studied the shastras, understood prakriti, doshas, the whole deal. Not just crammed theory but started to see how it shows up in real lives. After finishing BAMS, I got into this one-year certificate course at Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth, Delhi—honestly a turning point. I was super lucky to learn Kerala Ayurveda from my Guru, Prof. Dr. G.G. Gangadharan. He’s got this way of seeing things... simple but deep. That time with him taught me more than any textbook ever could. It kinda reshaped how I look at health, healing n how precise Ayurveda can be when you respect its roots. Right now I’m doing my MD in Panchakarma from SDM Ayurveda College, Bangalore. This place is like a hub for serious Ayurveda work. The Panchakarma training here? Super intense. We go deep into detoxification & rasayana therapy—not just theory again, but hands-on. I’m learning to blend classical techniques with today’s clinical demands.. like how to make Vamana or Basti actually doable in modern patient setups. My current practice is really about merging tradition with logic. Whether it’s chronic skin issues, gut problems, stress burnout or hormone stuff—my goal is to get to the root, not just hush the symptoms. I use Panchakarma when needed, but also a lot of ahara-vihara tweaks, medhya herbs, sometimes just slowing ppl down a bit helps. I really believe Ayurveda’s power is in its simplicity when done right. I don’t try to fix ppl—I work *with* them. And honestly, every patient teaches me something back.

I am someone who believes Ayurveda isn’t just some old system — it’s alive, and actually still works when you use it the way it's meant to be used. My practice mostly revolves around proper Ayurvedic diagnosis (rogi & roga pariksha types), Panchakarma therapies, and ya also a lot of work with herbal medicine — not just prescribing but sometimes preparing stuff myself when needed. I really like that hands-on part actually, like knowing where the herbs came from and how they're processed... changes everything. One of the things I pay a lot of attention to is how a person's lifestyle is playing into their condition. Food, sleep, bowel habits, even small emotional patterns that people don't even realize are affecting their digestion or immunity — I look at all of it before jumping to treatment. Dietary therapy isn’t just telling people to eat less fried food lol. It’s more about timing, combinations, seasonal influence, and what suits their prakriti. That kind of detail takes time, and sometimes patients don’t get why it matters at first.. but slowly it clicks. Panchakarma — I do it when I feel it's needed. Doesn’t suit everyone all the time, but in the right case, it really clears the stuck layers. But again, it's not magic — people need to prep properly and follow instructions. That's where strong communication matters. I make it a point to explain everything without dumping too much Sanskrit unless they’re curious. I also try to keep things simple, like I don’t want patients feeling intimidated or overwhelmed with 10 things at once. We go step by step — sometimes slow, sometimes quick depending on the case. There’s no “one protocol fits all” in Ayurveda and frankly I get bored doing same thing again and again. Whether it’s a fever that won’t go or long-term fatigue or gut mess — I usually go deep into what's behind it. Surface-level fixes don’t last. I rather take the time than rush into wrong herbs. It’s more work, ya, but makes a diff in long run.

I am an Ayurvedic doctor currently practicing at Ayushakti Ayurveda—which honestly feels more like a learning ecosystem than just a clinic. Being here has changed the way I look at chronic conditions. You don’t just treat the label—you go after the cause, layer by layer, and that takes patience, structure, and real connection with the person sitting in front of you. Ayushakti has been around 33+ years, with global reach and seriously refined clinical systems. That means I get to work with protocols that are both deeply rooted in traditional Ayurveda and also super practical for today’s world. Whether I’m managing arthritis, asthma, skin issues like eczema or psoriasis, hormone trouble, gut problems, or stress overload—my first step is always a deep analysis. Prakriti, doshas, ahar-vihar, past treatments—everything gets mapped out. Once I’ve got that picture clear, I create a plan using herbal medicines, detox programs (especially Panchakarma), Marma therapy if needed, and definitely food and routine corrections. But nothing’s random. Each piece is chosen for *that* person. And I don’t just prescribe—I explain. Because when someone knows *why* they’re doing a certain thing, they stick with it longer, and the results hold. One thing I’ve learned while working here is how powerful Ayurved can be when it's structured right. At Ayushakti, that structure exists. It helps me treat confidently and track results properly. Whether I’m working with a first-time visitor or a patient who’s been dealing with the same thing for 10 years, my goal stays the same—help their system return to a natural, sustainable state of balance. What I really enjoy is seeing how people’s mindset changes once they start to feel better. When they stop depending on just temporary relief and start building their health from within—that’s when the real shift happens. And being part of that shift? That’s why I do this.

Dr. Shaniba P
I am an Ayurvedic doctor, someone who’s pretty much built her clinical journey around natural healing, balance and yeah—just trying to help ppl feel a bit more whole again. I work mostly with conditions that kinda stay with people... like joint pain that won’t go away, periods all over the place, kids falling sick again n again, or just the kind of stress that messes up digestion n sleep n everything in between. A lot of my practice circles around arthritis, lower back pain, PCOD-ish symptoms, antenatal care, immunity problems in kids, and those quiet mental health imbalances ppl often don't talk much about. My approach isn’t just pulling herbs off a shelf and calling it a day. I spend time with classical diagnosis—checking Prakriti, figuring out doshas, seeing how much of this is physical and how much is coming from daily routine or emotional burnout. And treatments? Usually a mix of traditional Ayurvedic meds, Panchakarma (only if needed!!), changing food habits, tweaking the daily rhythm, and honestly... just slowing down sometimes. I’m also really into helping ppl understand themselves better—like once someone gets how their body is wired, things make more sense. I talk to patients about what actually suits their dosha, what throws them off balance, and how they can stop chasing quick fixes that don’t stick. Education's a big part of it. And yes, I’ve had patients walk in for constant cold and walk out realizing it’s more about weak agni n poor gut routines than just low immunity. Every case’s diff. Some are simple. Some not. But whether it’s a young woman trying to fix her cycles without hormones or a 6-year-old catching colds every week, I try building plans that last—not just short term relief stuff. Healing takes time and needs trust from both sides. End of the day, I try to keep it rooted—classical where it matters but flexible enough to blend with the world we're livin in rn. That balance is tricky, but worth it.

Dr. Ravi Chandra Rushi
I am working right now as a Consultant Ayurvedic Ano-Rectal Surgeon at Bhrigu Maharishi Ayurvedic Hospital in Nalgonda—and yeah, that name’s quite something, but what really keeps me here is the kind of cases we get. My main focus is managing ano-rectal disorders like piles (Arsha), fistula-in-ano (Bhagandara), fissure-in-ano (Parikartika), pilonidal sinus, and rectal polyps. These are often more complex than they look at first, and they get misdiagnosed or overtreated in a lotta places. That’s where our classical tools come in—Ksharasutra therapy, Agnikarma, and a few other para-surgical techniques we follow from the Samhitas...they’ve been lifesavers honestly. My work here pushes me to keep refining surgical precision while also sticking to the Ayurvedic core. I do rely on modern diagnostics when needed, but I won’t replace the value of a well-done Nadi Pariksha or assessing dosha-vikruti in depth. Most of my patients come with pain, fear, and usually after a couple of rounds of either incomplete surgeries or just being fed painkillers n antibiotics. And I totally get that frustration. That’s why I combine surgery with a whole support plan—Ayurvedic meds, diet changes, lifestyle tweaks that actually match their prakriti. Not generic stuff off a handout. Over time, I’ve seen that when people follow the whole protocol, not just the procedure part, the recurrence drops a lot. I’m quite particular about follow-up and wound care too, ‘cause we’re dealing with delicate areas here and ignoring post-op can ruin outcomes. Oh and yeah—I care a lot about educating folks too. I talk to patients in OPD, sometimes give community talks, just to tell people they do have safer options than cutting everything out under GA! I still study Shalya Tantra like it’s a living document. I try to stay updated with whatever credible advancements are happening in Ayurvedic surgery, but I filter what’s fluff and what’s actually useful. At the end of the day, my aim is to offer respectful, outcome-based care that lets patients walk out without shame or fear. That’s really what keeps me grounded in this field.

Dr. M.Sushma
I am Dr. Sushma M and yeah, I’ve been in Ayurveda for over 20 yrs now—honestly still learning from it every day. I mostly work with preventive care, diet logic, and prakriti-based guidance. I mean, why wait for full-blown disease when your body’s been whispering for years, right? I’m kinda obsessed with that early correction part—spotting vata-pitta-kapha imbalances before they spiral into something deeper. Most ppl don’t realize how much power food timing, digestion rhythm, & basic routine actually have… until they shift it. Alongside all that classical Ayurveda, I also use energy medicine & color therapy—those subtle layers matter too, esp when someone’s dealing with long-term fatigue or emotional heaviness. These things help reconnect not just the body, but the inner self too. Some ppl are skeptical at first—but when you treat *beyond* the doshas, they feel it. And I don’t force anything… I just kinda match what fits their nature. I usually take time understanding a person’s prakriti—not just from pulse or skin or tongue—but how they react to stress, sleep patterns, their relationship with food. That whole package tells the story. I don’t do textbook treatment lines—I build a plan that adjusts *with* the person, not on top of them. Over the years, watching patients slowly return to their baseline harmony—that's what keeps me in it. I’ve seen folks come in feeling lost in symptoms no one explained… and then walk out weeks later understanding their body better than they ever did. That, to me, is healing. Not chasing symptoms, but restoring rhythm. I believe true care doesn’t look rushed, or mechanical. It listens, observes, tweaks gently. That's the kind of Ayurveda I try to practice—not loud, but deeply rooted.

I am currently pursuing my MD in Panchakarma, and by now I carry 3 yrs of steady clinical experience. Panchakarma for me is not just detox or some fancy retreat thing — it’s the core of how Ayurveda actually works to reset the system. During my journey I’ve handled patients with arthritis flares, chronic back pain, migraine, digestive troubles, hormonal imbalance, even skin and stress-related disorders... and in almost every case Panchakarma gave space for deeper healing than medicines alone. Working hands-on with procedures like Vamana, Virechana, Basti, Nasya, and Raktamokshana gave me a lot of practical insight. It's not just about performing the therapy, but understanding timing, patient strength, diet before and after, and how their mind-body reacts to cleansing. Some respond quick, others struggle with initial discomfort, and that’s where real patient support matters. I learnt to watch closely, adjust small details, and guide them through the whole process safely. My approach is always patient-centric. I don’t believe in pushing the same package to everyone. I first assess prakriti, agni, mental state, lifestyle, then decide what works best. Sometimes full Panchakarma isn’t even needed — simple modifications, herbs, or limited therapy sessions can bring results. And when full shodhana is required, I plan it in detail with proper purvakarma & aftercare, cause that’s what makes outcomes sustainable. The last few years made me more confident not just in procedures but in the philosophy behind them. Panchakarma isn’t a quick fix — it demands patience, discipline, trust. But when done right, it gives relief that lasts, and that’s why I keep refining how I practice it.

Then came Sassoon Hospital—AYUSH dept. there was different... faster pace, diff crowd, and yeah more challenges too. Spent time at Rural Hospital Jejuri near Pune, where things were a little rough but that’s where I got a feel for rural setups, you know, less tech more instinct. Then I was at Vishwaanil Ayurved Clinic in Vairag, Solapur—small place but packed with people who just trust Ayurveda. That kinda stayed with me. Lastly PIOS Hospital, Jaysinghpur in Kolhapur—more integrated work there, seeing how different systems meet but still keeping ayurvedic core intact. All these experiences kinda shaped how I treat now—sometimes I’ll go all classical with herbs n’ all, and other times, tweak it based on what’s real for that patient, that day. Nothing’s copy-paste. Every place taught me somthing different—some patience, some speed, some doubt also but yeah it helped me grow in ways I didn’t plan. Still learning. Always am.

Dr. Ramkabir Mayankkumar Rushibhai
I am a third generation Ayurveda doctor, working in this field for many years and learning the knowledge passed down in my family line. I have been treating patients with different long term health problems, specially those who are tired of repeated medicines and want a more natural way to heal. My focus is mainly on understanding the root cause of the disease, not just the symptoms, because I truly belive healing should happen from inside, not just temporary relief. I work closely with patients and try to understand their lifestyle, food habits, stress levels and seasonal imbalances. Based on that, I suggest ayurvedic medicines along with simple daily routines and diet changes that can actually be followed in real life. Many people come to me after trying many treatments, and slowly we work together toward better health. I do not believe in one medicine for everyone. Every body is different, and treatment should also be personal. Over the years I have treated many long standing conditions with patience, consistency and proper guidance. I still keep learning everyday, because Ayurveda is vast and there is always something more to understand. My aim is to help people live a healthier, balanced life using authentic Ayurvedic principles, simple remedies and honest guidance, without overcomplicating things.

Dr. Prasad Pentakota
I am Dr. P. Prasad, and I’ve been in this field for 20+ years now, working kinda across the board—General Medicine, Neurology, Dermatology, Cardiology—you name it. Didn’t start out thinking I’d end up spanning that wide, but over time, each area sort of pulled me in deeper. And honestly, I like that mix. It lets me look at a patient not just through one lens but a whole system-wide view... makes more sense when treating something that won’t fit neatly in one category. I’ve handled everything from day-to-day stuff like hypertension, diabetes, or skin infections to more serious neuro and cardiac problems. Some cases are quick—diagnose, treat, done. Others take time, repeated check-ins, figuring out what’s really going on beneath those usual symptoms. And that’s where the detail matters. I’m pretty big on thorough diagnosis and patient education—because half the problem is ppl just not knowing what’s happening inside their own body. What’s changed for me over years isn’t just knowledge, it’s how much I lean on listening. If you miss what someone didn’t say, you might also miss their actual illness. And idk, after seeing it play out so many times, I do believe combining updated medical practice with basic empathy really shifts outcomes. Doesn’t have to be complicated... it just has to be consistent. I keep up with research too—new drugs, diagnostics, cross-specialty updates etc., not because it’s trendy, but cuz it’s necessary. Patients come in better read now than ever. You can’t afford to fall behind. The end goal’s the same tho—help them heal right, not just fast. Ethical practice, evidence-based, and sometimes just being there to explain what’s going on. That’s what I stick to.
