For IBS-C, Ayurveda considers an imbalance of Vata and, sometimes, Pitta doshas. To restore harmony, start by tweaking your di-et: take warm, cooked foods that are easier on digestion. Enhance your meals with ghee; it lubricates the digestive tract. Include moong dal khichadi, stewed apples, and soups. Avoid dry, cold, and processed foods as they can worsen your symptoms.

Hydration is key, so sip warm water throughout the day. You might also try Triphala before bed. Ingest about 1 tsp with warm water; it aids digestion and has mild laxative effects. If anxiety strains your digestion, practice grounding activities. A daily routine of yoga or pranayama (like alternate nostril breathing) calms the mind and supports bowel regularity.

Sleep disturbances could be tackled by creating a calming bedtime ritual—perhaps a sesame oil massage or warm bath. After that, avoid electronic devices an hour before bed. Consistency with sleep is as imporant as quantity, so aim to sleep and wake at the same times daily.

For hair and scalp issues, regularly applying coconut oil can be beneficial. Mix with a few drops of rosemary essential oil and massage your scalp, leave it overnight, then rinse in the morning. Stress can exacerbate scalp problems too, so stress management techniques like mindfulness can also help.

Ayurveda emphasizes the importance of lifestyle and diet together. Approach these changes steadily; consistency often delivers the best results. But, if symptoms develop or worsen, seeking consultation from a local Ayurveda practitioner is recommended. Real-time evaluation often provides insights into personalized treatments.

Managing IBS-C effectively often requires a multi-faceted approach. In the context of Siddha-Ayurvedic principles, your symptoms suggest a Vata imbalance, which can lead to difficulty with regular bowel movements. Begin by addressing your diet and daily routine. Start your morning with a glass of warm water mixed with a teaspoon of sesame oil to lubricate the intestines and aid in bowel movement. Consistent hydration throughout the day is crucial as well, so ensure you drink enough water but not too cold or iced fluids.

Include foods that are high in natural fibers, like fruits such as papaya and pears, as these can help in improving your bowel regularity. Avoid dry and cold foods that can aggravate Vata dosha. A simple home remedy is to soak one tablespoon of flaxseeds in a glass of water overnight and consume it in the morning on an empty stomach. This can help with regularizing the bowel movements.

To address the anxiety and disturbed sleep, consider incorporating a self-massage with warm sesame oil before a hot shower in your daily routine. This practice, known as Abhyanga, can have a calming effect on the nervous system, promoting relaxation. Additionally, consider using Brahmi or Jyotishmati as tonics for mental clarity and calming nature; take them as advised by a practitioner.

For hair fall and dandruff, which might be related to a combination of Vata and Pitta imbalance, coconut oil with a pinch of camphor applied to the scalp before bed may help. However, be sure to rinse it well in the morning. Lastly, practice yoga and pranayama to support mental balance and digestion. Specifically, try incorporating Apanasana and Pawanmuktasana postures into your routine, as these can aid digestion.

Since severe cases might need more personalized care, consult with a qualified Ayurvedic physician in person who can understand your prakriti and offer tailored recommendations.
