PCOS With extreme weakness and anxiety - #27607

I am 29 years old. I am having PCOS from the age of 20. I have irregular periods. Currently period is missed by 3 months and suddenly I have started having excessive weakness and palpitations and anxiety even head also spins occasionally. I did blood test. All vitamins are normal, only Iron is 30, but Haemoglobin is 12. Even thyroid is normal. But inflammation is more.I think these problems are due to PCOS. Can you suggest some ayurvedic medicine for the same. Or advice me what to do?

First of all avoid sweet, sour,salty food,guru ahar(heavy to digest),oily and fried food etc.

Ans start taking these medications, 1.Syrup M2 tone 2tsf twice in a day with Lukewarm water. 2.shatavari choorna 1tsf B.d.with lukewarm milk. 3.Rajahpravartni vati 1-1-1 4.Ashokarishta 20ml with equal amount of Lukewarm water just after having meal twice in a day. 5.Kanchnaar guggulu 2-0-2 for chewing.

*Along with these medications include Meditation, pranayam, yoga in your daily routine.

Follow up after 1 month.

Treatment - Your symptoms indicate hormonal imbalance hence,the diet , exercise and other lifestyle modifications are as important as the medicine itself. Treatment - 1. Chitrakadi vati -2-0-2 before meal for 3 days 2. Nastapushpantak ras 2-0-2 with lukewarm water after meal 3. Patrangasav and 4. Ashokaristha- 20 ml of both with 40 ml of water after meal 5.Rajah pravartini vati 2-0-2 after meal 6. I usually try to keep the language simple while dealing with patients cause honestly half of them come already confused or like really scared of what's happening inside their body... and if I use too much technical terms it just make it worse. I’ve been practicing in this space for couple of years now—don’t remember the exact month, maybe two or three year back? but anyway, what matters is I’ve seen how many of these problems get ignored till they turn serious. That’s something I feel strongly about. My goal is to help women understand their symptoms early and explain how Ayurveda can help gently but properly, whether it’s hormonal stuff or pain or cycle issues. I use classic Ayurvedic concepts like dosha analysis, ritucharya, n yoni vyapad chikitsa wherever it fits, but sometimes modern lifestyle really needs to be factored in too. Like if someone working night shift, no point telling them to wake up at 5am and do abhyanga daily—it won’t work. I’m practical about it. Anyway, I try my best to create a space where women feel heard. Lot of them said nobody actually explained them what’s going on before. And that’s like the saddest part. I feel my biggest strength is really just listening n tailoring the treatment to her routine, diet n stress pattern. Some cases are harder of course... things don’t always go fast, esp when it’s been neglected for yrs. But then Ayurveda’s not magic. It takes a little time—but results feel real n lasting when done right.

Avoid oily spicy processed foods pickle caffeinated products Have jeera , saunf water first thing in the morning, sip lukewarm water throughout the day Do malasan, chakki aasan, Butterfly pose, bhramari pranayam. Have 35mins brisk walk daily. Avoid blue screen after 10pm Have proper sleep.

You said your periods have been irregular, missed periods since 3 months. you are suffering from PCOS

In PCOS, -your ovaries develop many small cysts-fluid filled sacs -hormonal imbalance occurs-too much male hormone(androgens) and not enough of the hormones that regulate periods(like FSH and LH)

As a result -ovulation (release of eggs) doesn’t happen properly -periods become delayed, irregular or absent - you may notice weight gain, acne, facial hairs and mood swings

In Ayurveda, PCOD is due to -Kapha dosha increase-causing heaviness , slow metabolism, cyst formation -Vata dosha disturbance-blocking normal flow of hormones and menstruation -Agni(digestive fire) is weak, causing Ama(toxins) buildup in reproductive tissues(Artava dhatu)

Consultations online ain’t easy at first—no pulse reading, no direct Nadi check—but you learn to ask the right things, look at patient’s tone, habit patterns, timing of symptoms... and yeah it actually works, sometimes even better than in person. Right now I’m working as an Ayurveda consultant at Digvijayam Clinic where I’m focusing more on individualised care. Most ppl come here with stress-related problems, digestion issues, joint pain, that kind of mix. I go by classic diagnosis principles like prakriti analysis, dosha imbalance and all, but also mix in what I learned from modern side—like understanding their lifestyle triggers, screen time, sleep cycles, food gaps n stress patterns. I don’t rush into panchakarma or heavy medicines unless it’s needed... prefer starting with simple herbs, diet change, basic daily routine correction. If things demand, then I go stepwise into Shodhan therapies. My goal is to not just “treat” but to help ppl know what’s happening in their body and why its reacting like that. That awareness kinda becomes half the cure already. Not everything is perfect. Sometimes ppl don’t follow what you say, sometimes results are slow, and yeah that gets to you. But this path feels honest. It’s slow, grounded, and meaningful.

I use Panchakarma when needed, but also a lot of ahara-vihara tweaks, medhya herbs, sometimes just slowing ppl down a bit helps. And when full shodhana is required, I plan it in detail with proper purvakarma & aftercare, cause that’s what makes outcomes sustainable. The last few years made me more confident not just in procedures but in the philosophy behind them. Panchakarma isn’t a quick fix — it demands patience, discipline, trust. But when done right, it gives relief that lasts, and that’s why I keep refining how I practice it.
