The issues you’re facing with skin and hair likely relate to an underlying imbalance in your Ayurvedic doshas, especially, Kapha and Pitta. Let’s dive into a tailored plan for you.

For the skin: Dark spots especially from acne are often a sign of excess Pitta dosha, causing inflammation and discoloration. Start with applying a mixture of turmeric and sandalwood paste on affected areas. Mix a teaspoon of turmeric with sandalwood powder and a bit of water; apply nightly and wash off in the morning. Internally, you might want to take “Manjishtadi Kwath”, an Ayurvedic decoction known for its blood purifying properties. A teaspoon twice daily after meals could be beneficial—be cautious and ensure there are no contraindications especially considering anaemia.

Regarding hair loss: Vata imbalance attributes to hair-thinning and bald spots. Weekly scalp massages using warm sesame or coconut oil can help stabilize Vata and nourishes hair follicles. Massage for about 10-20 minutes, let the oil sit for an hour, then rinse with gentle shampoo. Eating a balanced, nutritious diet that includes sesame seeds, almonds, jaggery, and leafy greens supports hair health.

Considering your anemia and PCOD, prioritize iron-rich foods such as spinach, beetroot, and dates. Also include “Ashwagandha” in your regimen as it helps with balancing hormones especially with endocrine conditions like PCOD, and it also aids in reducing stress levels which are known to exacerbate hair and skin issues.

Furthermore, eating meals on time, reducing intake of oily and spicy foods, engaging in light exercises like yoga and pranayama can bring the overall balance evening agni (digestive fire).

Always consult with a local Ayurvedic practitioner to find the right dosages and regimens tailored to your particular constitution and health state.

Dark spots on skin from acne and the hair thinning you’re experiencing can be linked to underlying imbalances in your doshas, particularly involving the vata and pitta doshas, along with an influence of kapha due to PCOD. Additionally, your anemia points to a need to nourish the dhatus or tissue layers, particularly the rakta (blood) and rasa (fluid).

For the dark spots, a paste made of turmeric and sandalwood can be applied. Turmeric helps to reduce inflammation and has skin-brightening properties, while sandalwood cools and soothes your skin. Use this paste daily and leave it on for about 20 minutes before washing it off with lukewarm water.

Addressing hair thinning should involve strengthening your hair follicles from within. Regularly massage your scalp with bhringraj oil, known for enhancing hair growth and preventing hair loss. Leave it on for at least an hour before washing your hair. This improves circulation and nourishes the hair roots.

Given your anemia and PCOD, focus on dietary improvements to balance your doshas and support blood nourishment. Include iron-rich foods like spinach, fenugreek, sesame seeds, and jaggery—but balance them with juice of lemon to enhance absorption. Also, having a balanced diet with adequate protein can be beneficial for hair health. Yoga or pranayama improves oxygen flow, aiding both skin regeneration and hair health.

It’s crucial to monitor your PCOD with a healthcare professional, as this impacts hormonal balance, influencing both your skin condition and hair health. Ensure that any herbal supplementation or remedies align with your current anemia management plan.
