Adressing your questions 1 ) combining kamdudha and kutaj parpati- They are used together to manage IBS -D and pitta symptoms 2) kutanarishta- it contain self generated alcohol For you having high pitta or sensitive stomach this can trigger acid and produce burning sensation 3) Restarting Bilagyl - March April is better time to restart if it previously helped your bowel Routine For vomit- take butter milk with pinch of roasted cumin and ginger powder Small frequent meal Avoil large gaps in means it triggers acid

Thank you mam for your reply
You can take kamdudha ras Moti Yule along with kutaj pata pati if both r suiting you Kamdudha Ras will reduce acidity and reflux while kutaj will control loose stools Bilagyl can be restarted but avoid if you r diabetic n even after above medicine if its not controlling then take it Take light warm food Avoid spicy sour fermented foods long gaps between meals

–You can restart Kamdudha Ras Moti Yukt. It is safe to take along with Kutaj Parpati Vati. Take Kamdudha after breakfast and Kutaj Parpati after evening meals. If diarrhea is mild, you may use Kutaj Ghan Vati instead, but Kutaj Parpati is stronger and better for frequent loose motions. Avoid Kutjarishta since it increases acidity. You may restart Bilagyl in March or April, but only after acidity and reflux are controlled. Start with a low dose. Continue Pantoprazole as advised, but do not use long term , if use it longer consult Once.
It’s better to take Kutaj parpati Regular use of buttermilk will help you.
Hi… Yes you can take these… If having mild diarrhoea then go for kutajghan vati 1 BD If severe then kutaj parpati -2 BD Avoid and asava and arishta as they increase acidity…until your symptoms subside

Since you have IBS-D with acidity tendency, the main aim is to balance both gut sensitivity and excess acid rather than adding too many medicines together. Kamdudha ras (moti yukt) and Kutaj parpati vati are sometimes used together when there is diarrhea with burning or acidity, but the dose and timing should be adjusted based on your current digestion. If Kamdudha suits you, restarting in a low dose and observing response can be reasonable, but avoid starting multiple medicines at once. If Kutjarisht increased reflux, it is better to avoid it for now. Kutaj ghan vati may be gentler for some people compared to fermented preparations, but selection depends on stool pattern and acid symptoms. Bilagyl can be reintroduced only when digestion feels stable; if winters caused indigestion earlier, start later and in small dose with monitoring. Because IBS patterns change with season and your history shows sensitivity to medicines, a proper consultation is recommended to structure the combinations, timing and dose safely instead of trial-and-error adjustments.

✓Can you take Kamdudha Ras Moti Yukt with Kutaj Parpati Vati? Yes – safe & good combination. Dose: Kamdudha Ras Moti Yukt – 250–500 mg morning with cold water (empty stomach or after breakfast) Kutaj Parpati Vati – continue 1 tablet evening (or increase to 1 BD if diarrhea frequent ✓About Bilagyl restart (March/April) Yes – safe to restart when winter ends & heat begins (March–April is ideal in most parts of India). Bilagyl is bilva-based & can cause indigestion/heaviness in cold weather (Kapha season) but suits better in warmer months. Dose: 1–2 tsp twice daily after meals (start with 1 tsp BD for 3–5 days and increase if tolerated). ✓Quick overall plan Morning: Kamdudha Ras Moti Yukt 250–500 mg + Pantoprazole 40 mg Evening: Kutaj Parpati Vati 1 tablet + Bilagyl 1 tsp (restart from March/April) ✓Supportive: Hingwashtak Churna ½ tsp after lunch & dinner (gas/bloating control) Vajrasana 10 min after meals (reduces reflux & improves motility) ✓Diet & Lifestyle Small frequent meals, warm food only Avoid: spicy/sour, cold drinks, heavy pulses, late dinner Warm water sip all day (2.5–3 L) 10 min Anulom-Vilom daily (stress & IBS trigger reduction) Regards Dr Gursimran Jeet Singh MD Panchakarma

Thank you sir for your reply and very well explained medicine prescription. Please suggest is it safe to take baelgiri powder or sandu bilagyl in IBS D
And again its winter so kamdudha ras moti yukt is cooling in nature. So uptil mid March taking kamdudha ras plain is safe to work on acid reflux or not And also suggest which is better to take safe either baelgiri powder or sandu bilagyl
धन्यवाद सर
Yes, both Baelgiri powder and Sandu Bilagyl are safe and commonly used in IBS-D, but they behave differently in winter. ✓Baelgiri powder is Mildly warming / neutral and better choice in winter, Stronger binding (grahi) action and controls loose motions more effectively, Less chance of increasing coldness or aggravating Vata in winter, Recommended first for your current season ✓Sandu Bilagyl is Slightly cooling & heavier and can increase Kapha/Vata in winter , may cause more bloating/indigestion in cold weather (as you experienced earlier) It is Better in summer/hot weather when Pitta is high ✓Suggested choice for you right now Start with Baelgiri powder (not Bilagyl) until mid-March / weather warms up. Dosage for Baelgiri powder 1–2 gm (½ tsp) twice daily after meals with warm water Start with 1 gm BD for 5–7 days and increase to 2 gm BD if tolerated Continue 4–8 weeks then reassess ✓Kamdudha Ras Plain (without Moti) is milder cooling than Moti Yukt version and Yes its safe to switch to Kamdudha Ras Plain now (winter) for acid reflux control Dose: 250–500 mg twice daily with cold water (morning & evening)
Thank you sir for your reply in a very well explained way. Sir one more query that kamdudha ras plain will not irritate stomach lining because once I tried zandu zanacid and it’s like produce dome itching sensation in stomach lining after consuming it and irritate then I stopped and started taking esmoperazole. It was long back before 4 years. So have fear now for taking kamdudha ras plain. Last year when I took kamdudha ras moti yukt then i didn’t have acid reflux issue. Please clarify and suggest in this context
Kamdudha with motiyukta has more potency or in simple language is more powerful than plain kamdudha. Just if you feel severe burning or gastritis than take motiyukta version, otherwise go for plain kamdudha .

If following medicine is ok otherwise will switch to kamdudha ras. Dear Dr, I have IBS D and taking pantoprazole 40 mg morning and 1 tab kutaj parpati vati night. Here are the ingredients of spasmoplan plan Khurasani ajwain 50mg, Ajwain 50mg, Jeera 100mg, saumf 100 mg, Swarjika kshaar 100mg, pudina 100mg I have query that I have already pitta dominating system and spasmoplan contain ajwain and if I take it then may increase pitta in my body or not because if take little bit ajwain in my meal then it will increase acid or little hyperacidity feeling in my stomach. And if it lt increase pitta then it can heal ulcers/ erosion and reduce muscle pain which we came across when we pass stool and for that allopathy Dr suggested mebeverine, Chlordiazepoxide and Chlordiazepoxide. 2. Pitta shamak 2: here are the ingredients Pitta papda 400mg, Patol 100mg Can I take this medicine to control pitta or take kamdudha ras plain or kamdudha ras moti yukt along with kutaj 3. In IBS-D with associated acidity and reflux tendency, the approach has to balance both gut motility and Pitta regulation. From what you described, your system seems sensitive to strong formulations during certain seasons, especially winter. If Kamdudha ras moti yukta suits you and helps control burning or reflux, it can generally be combined with Kutaj parpati vati — as one mainly supports Pitta balance and the other supports intestinal regulation. However, the dose and timing matter, especially since you are also on Pantoprazole. Kutaj ghan vati is milder compared to Kutajarishta and may be better tolerated if acid tendency is present. Since Kutajarishta triggered reflux for you, avoiding fermented preparations may be wise. Regarding Bilagyl, if it caused indigestion in winter, it may indicate weak digestion (mandagni) during that season. Reintroducing it should depend on your current digestive strength rather than the calendar month. Starting slowly and observing tolerance is safer than restarting at a full dose. Because IBS-D patterns can shift with season and stress, and since you are already adjusting multiple medicines, I would strongly recommend a structured review of your current digestion, bowel pattern, acidity level, and stress profile before restarting or combining medicines. A personalized plan will help prevent trial-and-error aggravation and stabilize your gut more effectively.
