Namaste, Natasha. Based on your symptoms, it seems your vision issues may be related to eye strain or sensitivity caused by the eye drops. Ayurvedic remedies to support eye health include:

Triphala Wash: Boil Triphala powder in water, strain, and use as an eyewash once cooled. Ghee: Consume 1 teaspoon of pure cow’s ghee daily for nourishment. Amalaki (Amla): Take it as juice or capsules to rejuvenate eye tissues. Palming Exercise: Rub your palms together and place them gently over your eyes to relax them. Maintain a balanced diet rich in Vitamin A (carrots, spinach) and practice eye yoga. If symptoms persist, consult an Ayurvedic opthalmologist for more prescised treatment…

Wow, that sounds quite frustrating. Sometimes after an eye exam involving drops, one’s vision might get temporarily disturbed. Often, they use dilating drops to help them see the back of the eye better, and yeah, it can cause some blurry vision for a bit.

First thing, though—it’s super important to make sure there’s no serious issue. If the blur and spots persist or worsen, maybe pop back to an eye doc. Just a safety check, you know?

Now, for something more natural and gentle…In Ayurveda, your vision issues might be linked to Pitta imbalance, as the eyes are associated with Pitta dosha. Pitta governs metabolism and transformation in the body and could be affected by factors like stress, heat, or even certain foods.

I’d suggest starting with Triphala wash. You can find triphala in powder form easily. Mix about a half teaspoon of triphala with some warm water, let it sit overnight, strain it thoroughly, and use the liquid to gently wash your eyes in the morning. This can sometimes be helpful for visual clarity.

Also, try adding a tablespoon of ghee to your diet, it’s considered good for eyesight in Ayurveda. Maybe mix it in with your warm milk at night – oh, make sure it’s organic ghee for best effect.

Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, but avoid caffeine, oily, spicy, and excessively salty foods for now. They can aggravate Pitta.

Remember to get good rest, as it plays a big role in eye health. Try to shut off screens at least an hour before you go to bed. Give those eyes some downtime, right?

Yoga can also help; eye exercises like moving your gaze up and down, side to side and in a circle, can stimulate the eye muscles. But do it gently.

Remember, if things don’t improve, have that conversation with a healthcare person again. Better safe than sorry.
