Lately, I’ve been feeling exhausted all the time, like no matter how much I sleep, I wake up tired. My body feels heavy, and it’s been harder than usual to concentrate on things. I thought maybe it was just stress, but then I started noticing other things too—my hair is falling out more than normal, and my skin has become really dry. Even my weight has gone up, even though I haven’t changed my diet much. A friend told me these could be hypothyroidism symptoms, so I got my thyroid levels checked. My TSH was higher than normal, and the doctor said it’s hypothyroidism. He prescribed thyroid medication and said I might have to take it for life, which honestly freaked me out. I don’t want to rely on medicine forever if there’s a natural way to fix this. That’s why I started looking into Ayurveda. Does Ayurveda have treatments for hypothyroidism symptoms? Are there herbs that can actually help balance the thyroid instead of just controlling the symptoms? I read about Ashwagandha and Kanchanar Guggulu, but I don’t know if they’re safe to take long-term. Also, is food an important factor in hypothyroidism symptoms?
