stained teeth - #18023
I’ve always taken good care of my teeth, brushing twice a day and even avoiding too many sweets. But lately, I’ve noticed that my stained teeth are getting worse, especially on the front ones. It’s not like they’re yellow all over, but there are these darkish spots near the edges and in between. I don’t smoke, and I don’t drink coffee regularly, so I don’t understand why this is happening. Could it be something in my diet or just aging? A few months ago, I started drinking more herbal teas, especially turmeric and black tea, because I read that they’re good for digestion. Now I’m wondering if they could be causing stained teeth. I also take Ayurvedic churna sometimes, and I’ve noticed it leaves a slight color on my tongue after taking it. Could these natural remedies be affecting my teeth? I don’t want to go for chemical whitening treatments because I’ve heard they can make teeth more sensitive. That’s why I want to know if Ayurveda has any natural ways to remove stained teeth. Are there specific herbs or remedies that can help brighten teeth without damaging the enamel? I’ve heard of oil pulling with coconut or sesame oil—does that actually work for stained teeth? Another thing I’m worried about is if stained teeth are a sign of deeper health issues. Does Ayurveda see teeth discoloration as a symptom of imbalance in the body? Could it be related to Pitta or Kapha dosha? I don’t have major digestion problems, but I do get occasional acidity. Could that be affecting my teeth? I really want to get rid of these stains naturally. If anyone has used Ayurvedic treatments for stained teeth, I’d love to hear what worked. How long does it take for natural remedies to show results, and are there any specific foods or habits I should avoid?
