Hi Angel,

Can you tell me if you experience any other symptoms like fatigue, weight changes, or mood swings related to your thyroid condition? Also, how is your diet, lifestyle, and stress level?

Thyroid imbalances can affect fertility, and improving thyroid function might help with sperm quality. Ayurvedic remedies like Ashwagandha, Shatavari, and Kanchanar Guggulu may help balance thyroid function and improve sperm health. It’s important to work with both your endocrinologist and a fertility specialist to manage your thyroid and fertility together.

Low sperm count and motility can be so frustrating, especially when trying to conceive. It’s great that you’re looking into Ayurvedic ways to improve this. Let’s dive into it with a balanced approach considering both your thyroid condition and reproductive health.

First off, your thyroid issue with TSH levels at 7 suggests hypothyroidism. Ayurveda links thyroid imbalances to vata and kapha dosha disturbances. For this, addressing your thyroid with herbs like ashwagandha might be beneficial. Ashwagandha is known for its adaptogenic properties; it helps support hormonal balance. Try taking it as a powder or capsule, typically 1-2 tsp of powder with warm milk before bedtime could be a start. Of course, it’s always good to check with your healthcare provider when starting something new.

Now, for sperm health — it’s all about shukra dhatu (reproductive tissue) in Ayurveda. To bolster this, sesame seeds and almonds in your diet can be helpful as they nourish the shukra. A handful of these daily. And yeah, let’s not forget pumpkin seeds! High zinc content which supports sperm too.

Stress can be a biggie affecting both thyroid and sperm production. Consider incorporating yoga or meditation daily. Even just 15 mins of mindful breathing or an online yoga class can center and calm the system.

And watch your diet — go for warmer, cooked meals. Steer clear of excessively fatty or processed foods. Light exercises daily and getting enough sunlight are vital too. Your digestive fire or agni needs nourishment, so an occasional ginger tea might stimulate digestion.

Oh, and hydration! Keep it up with plenty of water, but avoid cold drinks. Opt for room temperate.

Also, you might wanna discuss any current thyroid treatment with your doctor and see if there’s a need for adjustments due to conception attempts. Thyroid levels can impact reproductive capabilities, as y’might know!

Remember, these lifestyle changes may take some time to show results so try to be patient as well. Good luck, and I hope this info helps in your journey to conception!
