Hello Wafa, What is your AMH, FSH, Prolactin and AFC ? PCOS in Ayurveda is linked to Kapha and Vata imbalances, causing hormonal disturbances and irregular ovulation. The focus is on restoring hormonal balance, regulating menstrual cycles, and improving reproductive health. Detoxification therapies help remove toxins, regulate metabolism, and balance hormones. A diet that pacifies Kapha is recommended, including warm, light foods and avoiding dairy, sugar, and processed items. Regular exercise like yoga, walking, and breathing exercises can improve blood circulation and reduce stress. Maintaining a consistent daily routine with proper sleep and mindful relaxation supports hormonal balance. Emotional well-being plays a key role, so stress management through meditation and self-care is essential. Ayurveda encourages timing intercourse during the fertile window once cycles regulate. With patience and consistent care, it is possible to restore natural fertility.

Hello, Can you share if you have symptoms like irregular periods, weight gain, acne, or hair growth? How is your digestion, stress, and sleep quality? In Ayurveda, PCOS is often linked to an imbalance in Vata and Kapha doshas. To help with conceiving and restoring your menstrual cycle, try: Shatavari – Nourishes the reproductive system and balances hormones. Ashoka – Regulates the menstrual cycle and supports overall reproductive health. Guduchi – Strengthens the immune system and reduces inflammation. Triphala – Helps detoxify the body and balance the menstrual cycle. A Pitta and Kapha-reducing diet along with gentle exercises like yoga and stress management can also support fertility. Consult an Ayurvedic practitioner for a personalized treatment.

Reversing PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) and conceiving naturally involves a multi-faceted approach, and Ayurveda can offer some guidance here. PCOS, in Ayurveda, is considered a condition of kapha and vata imbalance. The key is to focus on balancing these doshas through diet, lifestyle changes, and specific herbal remedies. First, let's look at diet. It's crucial to incorporate foods that pacify kapha and vata. Focus on consuming warm, cooked meals rather than raw foods. Including spices like cumin, turmeric, ginger, and cinnamon can be beneficial. These spices enhance agni, aiding in digestion, and reduce kapha congestion. Limiting dairy, sugar, and heavily processed foods is essential, as they can increase kapha. Instead, opt for whole grains like quinoa or brown rice, green leafy vegetables, and lean proteins like legumes and lentils. Regular meals without skipping breakfast, as it's crucial for maintaining a stable agni. Lifestyle wise, adopting a consistent routine can significantly help balance the doshas. Engaging in regular, gentle exercises such as yoga or brisk walking can improve metabolism and reduce stress, which are often supporters of hormonal imbalances. Practicing pranayama (breathing exercises) daily helps to calm vata and promote relaxation. Herbal remedies play a role too - herbs like Shatavari and Ashwagandha are known for hormonal balance, but it's important to consult with a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner before starting any herbal regimen. They can provide the right dosage and combination for your specific constitution. It's important to manage stress effectively as it can exacerbate vata imbalance, try meditation, or journaling to ease the mind and promote relaxation. Ensuring regular and sufficient sleep — aiming for around eight hours, can also modulate hormone levels. If symptoms persist, or you do not see improvements, please consult your Ayurvedic practitioner or healthcare provider. This approach should not delay or replace interventions that your healthcare provider recommends, especially if immediate medical attention is needed.
