It is advisable to consult a surgeon as there are limited chances of treating this condition solely with medication. A surgical opinion will provide a clearer understanding of the best course of action. Fasting can be beneficial, but it should be done under the supervision of a specialist to ensure safety and effectiveness.

Hello, As the size of polyp is 10mm, surgical intervention is the best option. Post surgery of you follow a set of diet you should be feeling fine. Kind Regards.

Surgery can be the most appropriate course of action for polyp more than 10mm.As this size carries significant risk of malignancy. While awaiting surgery or a complementary approach, certain dietary restrictions like avoiding spicy, fried,Nonveg diet. Incorporate fresh fruits, vegetables ,whole grains and pulses in your diet. Also eating on time and avoiding overeating is most necessary. Taking fresh aloevera juice at morning, and bottle gourd juice at mid day shall help in lever detoxification . Fasting once a week or intermetent fasting is very beneficial. Also start basic yogas asanas ( kapalbhati, bhujangasana, naukasan, dhanurasana, vajrasana ).

When it comes to gallbladder polyps, especially ones that are 10mm or larger, there's an important consideration. Most allopathic doctors recommend surgery because there’s a risk that larger polyps might become cancerous over time. In Ayurveda, while we always emphasize holistic healing and balance of doshas, we should also weigh the immediate risks and benefits very carefully when it comes to surgery. If your doctor suggested surgery due to size and potential risks, it's crucial to take this advice seriously. However, in terms of what Ayurveda can support, let's focus on maintaining a healthy gallbladder and digestive system, which is within our scope. Since your body seems to respond well to fasting, I'd suggest continuing this but in alignment with your dosha balance. As someone prone to gallbladder concerns, focusing on Kapha and Pitta balancing might be effective. Here are some suggestions, but remember, these might supplement but not replace medical recommendations regarding surgery: 1. Diet: Incorporate more warm, light, and mildly spiced foods to keep the digestive fire, or Agni, strong. Avoid Kapha and Pitta aggrevating foods, like overly spicy, salty, or acidic foods, as these can lead to issues. Opt for more fruits (like apples, and pears), vegetables (like asparagus, and leafy greens), and whole grains. 2. Herbal Support: Turmeric can be beneficial due to its anti-inflammatory properties. Consider a mixture of turmeric and honey, taken with warm water daily. 3. Lifestyle: Gentle exercises such as yoga or walking can enhance your digestive fire, while reducing stress, which can contribute to an overall healthier lifestyle. 4. Be aware: Keep a close eye on any symptoms - if you experience significant pain, fever or jaundice, immediate medical attention is needed. It’s always essential to consult with your healthcare provider, and I'd urge not to delay contact with them regarding the suggested surgery. Balancing the Ayurvedic approach with conventional western medicine is often the best way. Take care!
