Acne scars can certainly be frustrating, but Ayurveda offers a holistic approach to help manage them. The emphasis is on restoring balance in the skin and underlying tissues, which often involves more than just topical applications. Scars are typically linked to Pitta dosha imbalance, and addressing this can be beneficial. Applying sandalwood paste mixed with rose water directly on affected areas can soothe the skin. It may not give overnight results, but over time it promotes healing. Diet plays a crucial role; aim to reduce spicy, oily, and fried food that aggravates Pitta, and instead focus on cooling foods like cucumber and coconut water.

For period cramps, consider consuming ajwain (carom seeds) tea, which can relieve pain. Applying a warm compress on the abdomen often helps as well. To improve appetite, stimulate your digestive fire (agni) with fresh ginger or a pinch of rock salt before meals. Consistently eating at regular times supports a strong digestive routine, too.

Pain in the foot and palm can have varied causes, often related to Vata dosha imbalance. Regular oil massage with sesame oil warms and improves circulation, providing relief. Herbs like Ashwagandha can also help stabilize the body’s energy, reducing such discomforts over time.

Hair fall can be addressed by nourishing the scalp and hair roots. Massage your scalp with Bhringraj or almond oil; this strengthens hair follicles, increasing thickness. Maintaining a balanced diet rich in iron, protein, and curd supports overall hair health, too.

Remember, consistency is key. Ayurveda is about balance and natural remedies, and it may take some time to see visible changes — but these methods align harmoniously with your body’s natural rhythms. If you’re experiencing any acute or severe symptoms, it’s always wise to consult a healthcare professional for personalized advice.
