Hi. Due to Gall bladder removal Fat metabolism is low so avoid heavy fats like cheese, red meat, oily or fried food. For burping kindly have ajwain and jeera water after meal. Avoid cruciferous vegetables like cabbage, cauliflower , wheat flour. Instead you can have jowar bajari flour, rice flour. Tab. Shankha vati 2-0-2 before meal.

After gallbladder removal, the body undergoes holatic changes in digestion, which can lead to increased burping and acidity, particularly in the evenings. It's vital to balance your diet based on Ayurvedic principles of digestive fire, or Agni. First, focus on timing, the evening meal should be light and consumed ideally by sunset, to allow adequate digestion before bedtime. Since you've mentioned you're eating veggies soup at night, it might be good to look at how exactly it's being made, certain vegetables, especially cruciferous ones like broccoli and cauliflower, can cause more gas. Try incorporating easily digestible vegetables like spinach, zucchini, or carrots. Avoid cold soups, as cold foods can dampen Agni. Instead, have them warm with spices like ginger, coriander, or cumin—these can stimulate digestion. You could even sip on hot ginger tea after your meals to help digest fats and reduce gas. For acidity, stear clear of spicy, oily, or excessively salty foods. Favor cooling foods such as a small, warm glass of buttermilk with a pinch of roasted cumin and fenugreek seeds post meals, which can sooth digestive tract. Focus on mindfulness during meals, chew your food thoroughly, avoid talking while eating, and do not lie down immediately after eating to reduce burping. Instead, a gentle walk might be beneficial, letting gravity aid digestion. If burping persists, considering keeping a food diary to identify specific triggers. Certain personal habits might also need revisiting—eating slowly and in calm environment can make a significant difference. In case the issue still troubling you despite dietary changes, it might be wise to consult a healthcare provider to rule out other underlying causes. Ensuring proper digestion will help prevent discomfort post meals and enhance overall well-being.
