Considering your situation, it’s essential first to address the blood in stool. Blood in the stool can indicate a range of issues from hemorrhoids to fissures, often due to hard stools. It’s crucial to get professional evaluation if the bleeding persists to rule out anything serious. However, assuming this is from hard stools (constipation), we can work on the digestive tract from an Ayurvedic perspective.

In Ayurveda, the presence of undigested food and mucus implies that your digestive fire, or Agni, is weak; possibly due to an imbalance in Vata or Kapha dosha. When Agni is not functioning optimally, it doesn’t properly break down food, leading to indigestion and resulting symptoms.

Firstly, focus on re-establishing a stable digestive rhythm. Start the day with a glass of warm water to stimulate Agni. Add a slice of ginger with a pinch of rock salt before meals to kindle your digestive fire. Avoid raw or heavy-to-digest foods like cheese and red meat for now.

It’s vital to include dietary fiber to encourage softer stools; steamed veggies such as carrots and spinach can be beneficial. Consider introducing Triphla, a well-known Ayurvedic formulation that naturally promotes bowel regularity without causing dependency or harsh effects. Take about a teaspoon with warm water at night.

Ensure you stay hydrated, but avoid cold water, which can suppress Agni. Opt for warm herbal teas like fennel, cumin, or coriander infusions, they help in pacifying Vata as well.

It’s also advisable to incorporate some light exercise like walking for about 20-30 mins daily to support digestion and circulation. Aim to eat meals at regular times every day, as irregular eating can disturb Agni and doshic balance.

If the bleeding continues or worsens, or if you experience any additional symptoms, do seek immediate professional care to explore further medical attention.
