Considering the symptoms—white or light yellow, thick, curd-like discharge, irritation and itching—it seems indicative of a yeast infection, particularly Candida, which is quite common. Your use of Fluconazole suggests a fungal cause, yet recurrence means the root cause might persisr untackled. Ayurveda offers holistic approaches to address such imbalances by focusing on pitta and kapha doshas normally involved in this condition. Start with local application of a paste made from yashtimadhu (licorice root). Mix with a small amount of water and apply externally to the affected area to relieve itching and irritation. Diet wise, reducing intake of sugar and refined carbs is key; these foods can feed yeasts, causing a flare-up. Opt for a diet that includes more fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Add spcies like turmeric and ginger which support digestion and have antifungal properties. Furthermore, probiotics can help restore beneficial bacterial flora. Consume fermented foods such as yogurt or buttermilk after meals. Another gentle remedy is regularly drinking decoction of neem leaves. Boil a few leaves in water and consume this for a natural antifungal support. As for lifestyle, wear loose-fitting and breathable clothing to decrease moisture retention, which could exacerbate the infection. Keep stress at bay through daily practices like yoga or meditation, which can help maintain an overall balance of your immune system. If the symptoms persist, its crucial to consult with your healthcare provider as persistent infections may need more thorough clinical evaluation to rule out other underlying conditions. While Ayurveda can offer supportive remedies, ongoing or severe symptoms should be assessed carefully with a detailed personal consultation.
