OLP IS A CONDITION WHERE YOUR BODY IS IMMUNE SYSTEM Starts reacting against its own tissue, especially in the mouth in Ayurveda we this as an imbalance in doshas Mainly Pitta and kapha along with ama It keeps coming and going because modern science treat symptoms, but we address the root cause like if digestion is weak if the mind is under stress or if we are system is inflamed inside The condition can be triggered again and again. According to a modern science, it is not curable, but in Ayurveda, we look deeper, we concentrate on calming the doshas blood purify, the blood, strengthen the digestive fire, rebuilt Ojas, and calm, the nervous system, when all these are addressed together, the body get a chance to reset Along with some internal help, we do /advise, gentle detox procedure along with that it support you that and some lifestyle modification proper sleep, regular diet, emotionally, calm, or also important because stress is often hidden trigger I rather doesn’t just look for symptom relief. It uses from the root cause so that there will be less chance of reoccurrence It takes time, but with consistent proper routine, we can reverse it

Oral Lichen Planus, being a chronic autoimmune disorder, does pose challenges, but Ayurveda offers a different perspective. In Ayurveda, such conditions often link to imbalances in doshas - primarily Pitta and Vata - and weak Agni, the digestive fire, which can lead to accumulation of toxins or "ama" in the body. The goal of treatment would be to restore balance to these doshas and strengthen the immune system naturally. Firstly, focusing on diet is crucial. Favor a Pitta and Vata pacifying diet, which includes sweet, bitter, and astringent foods like green leafy vegetables, cucumbers, melons and lentils. Avoid overly spicy, sour or salty foods as they can aggravate Pitta. Drinking plenty of water and herbal teas, like fennel or chamomile can assist in flushing toxins and soothing your system. Ayurvedic herbs might also aid in managing Oral Lichen Planus. Turmeric, with its potent anti-inflammatory properties, could help. Consider adding a pinch of turmeric to warm milk or water in the morning. Aloe Vera gel applied to affected areas may provide some soothing relief too. Incorporating lifestyle practices such as regular yoga or pranayama can help in managing stress, another contributing factor to autoimmune disorders. Gentle practices like Anulom Vilom or Bhramari can be calming and support balance of mind and body. Begin each day with self-care practices like oil pulling using sesame oil, which can promote oral health and balance both Pitta and Vata. However, it's important to maintain regular follow-ups with your healthcare providers and integrate these practices carefully with the plan they have for you. While Ayurveda can offer a way to manage and possibly improve your condition, it should complement rather than replace conventional treatments. If at any point, symptoms worsen, it's vital to seek medical advice promptly.
