Firstly, it’s important to keep in mind that severe, chronic headaches in children should be evaluated by a pediatrician to rule out any underlying neurological issues. Now, concerning your daughter’s condition from an Ayurvedic perspective, it seems there could be a Pitta imbalance, which often manifests as headaches, especially if it affects one side, like the left.

Ayurveda views headaches as a disturbance in the balance of Vata and Pitta dosha. For a child weighing 19 kg, with frequent headaches, we’d want to approach this gently. Start by looking at her diet. Focus on cooling and soothing foods to pacify Pitta. Include items like coconut water, cucumber, and leafy greens. Avoid hot, spicy, and too oily foods which can aggravate Pitta further.

Ensuring she’s well-hydrated is important too, as dehydration can sometimes contribute to headaches. Encourage her to drink room-temperature water throughout the day.

Consider incorporating gentle head massages with Brahmi or Bhringraj oil. Gently massage her scalp in the evening; this can help balance the mind and soothe headaches. It may also promote calm sleep.

Adding Triphala might be beneficial for her, which helps regulate digestion and remove toxins. You can give a small amount - start with 1/4 teaspoon mixed in warm water before bed. Be sure to check with a healthcare provider to ensure this is suitable for her age and weight.

Simple breathing exercises like Anulom Vilom (alternate nostril breathing) might help. Encourage her to practice for 5 minutes daily, preferably in the morning, to promote mental clarity and reduce stress.

However, if headaches persist or worsen, please seek immediate medical attention as it could be indicative of a more serious condition. It’s imperative to have a proper medical evaluation to ensure there is no underlying issue that needs urgent attention.
