Mona Sharma

About a month ago, there was itching on my whole body then after some days I felt there was itching in my ears too. Then,I went to an ENT specialist in my city. I explained him my condition then he checked my ears and said there is allergy in my ears. I asked him if this is related with my body itching and he said yes may be it is due to your body and avoid eating those things which cause allergy to you. Then he gave me Ear drops and tell me to put those drops in my ears for atleast 10 days along with some allergy tablets . Then, Started using those drops and tablets . I felt fine but again same condition. And also Idon't know which things cause allergy to my body. I have same condition .Now, I feel air pressure in my ears along with itching. How to get rid of this??

With over 18 years of dedicated Ayurvedic practice, I have focused extensively on treating skin and hair disorders, integrating classical Panchakarma therapies with individualized care. A major aspect of my clinical approach involves Upakarma procedures—supportive therapies within Panchakarma—which I customize based on each patient’s Prakriti (constitutional type). I believe true healing begins when treatments are aligned with the body’s natural balance, and this philosophy guides every aspect of my work. My specialization includes the preparation and use of Ayurvedic formulations that I personally design, including face packs, hair packs, body oils, and facial oils—each one carefully selected and recommended according to the patient’s specific dosha and skin/hair condition. These formulations are result-oriented and rooted in time-tested Ayurvedic principles, ensuring safe, natural, and sustainable outcomes. In my practice, Ayurvedic facials are more than just cosmetic procedures; they are therapeutic treatments tailored to the unique constitution of each individual, aiming to restore inner and outer harmony. By incorporating dosha-based skincare routines and traditional beauty therapies, I help patients achieve visible improvement in conditions like pigmentation, acne, hair fall, and premature aging—without relying on chemical-based solutions. My goal is to blend classical Ayurveda with a practical, patient-focused approach. Whether managing chronic skin concerns, offering customized herbal solutions, or delivering rejuvenative Panchakarma therapies, I ensure each treatment is deeply personalized, holistic, and rooted in authentic Ayurvedic wisdom.

✅To check allergy you can do blood test. ✅ Itching on body may be due to some allergy or scabies (mites) important to rule out. Because this both are different. For Ear itching you can put 1 drop of neem oil.

Is the feeling of air pressure in the ears due to acid reflux?
Understanding your condition involves considering both the possible root causes and addressing both allergies and ear pressure based on Ayurveda's principles. Seems like you've already started with conventional treatment for allergies, but since the itching and ear discomfort persist, let's try exploring some Ayurvedic pointers that might assist you further. Firstly, allergies often relate to an imbalance in the doshas, especially an aggravated Vata and Kapha. To address this, consider including anti-inflammatory and decongestant herbs in your diet such as turmeric and ginger. You can prepare a simple decoction: boil fresh ginger slices and a pinch of turmeric in water, and drink this warm a couple of times a day. Its warming qualities can help pacify Vata and Kapha. For the itching and ear pressure itself, Ayurvedic ear drops can be beneficial. A home remedy is using warm sesame oil, which is vata-pacifying. Warm a small amount gently and apply it into your ears with a clean dropper—gently, and not too much at once, maybe a couple of drops for each ear, once a day. Avoiding allergens is key, but since you're unsure what triggers it, try a food diary. Noting everything you eat and any symptoms can offer clues. In general, avoid processed foods, which might stress your system. Favor freshly prepared meals, with whole grains, and lots of vegetables. Avoid cold and reheated foods—they might aggravate Kapha. Often ear pressure can be relieved through gentle massages. You might find gently massaging your neck and facial area helps relieve tension. Also, performing 'Yogic ear exercise'—like an easy variation of the Vayu Mudra, can offer some relief. Press the tip of your index finger to the base of your thumb and hold for a few minutes, breathing deeply. If the pressure is not relieved and if symptoms worsen, I do recommend seeking immediate professional medical assessment. Imbalances might sometimes need a multi-faceted approach and staying safe should always come first.
