Thriphaladi churnam has to be taken orally or applied on affected areas
Thriphaladi churnam can be used for both ,orally and externally. Here for external wash, since it has anti inflammatory and anti fungal properties too. After boiling water with 1-2tsp of powder ,let it cool down, in lukewarm temperature only wash those itchy areas, twice daily

From an Ayurvedic perspective, your child's symptoms suggest an imbalance that could be related to both Pitta and Kapha doshas. The presence of itching and rashes along with discoloration and roughness indicates an excess heat condition, potentially combined with a damp and stagnant characteristic of Kapha. First, let's focus on diet. It would be beneficial for your child to avoid excessively spicy, oily, or processed foods, as these can aggravate Pitta. Encourage a diet rich in fresh fruits and vegetables, especially those with cooling and soothing properties like cucumber, zucchini, and coconut water. Hydration is important, so ensure she drinks plenty of water throughout the day; adding a bit of mint can be nice too. For topical application, you can try a natural oil like coconut oil or aloe vera gel, which are cooling and can provide relief from itching. Apply it gently on the affected areas. Turmeric mixed with some neem paste can be applied for its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, use thrice a week for a milder effect without overburdening the skin. Additionally, promote regular bathing with tepid water using a mild soap, probably containing ingredients like neem or sandalwood, known for their skin-soothing properties. The ritual of an oatmeal bath can also be soothing; make it by grinding oats and mixing them in bath water. Addressing lifestyle, since skin issues can be stress related too, incorporate calming activities like walking in nature or light yoga. Ensure regular sleep patterns as good rest supports body repair mechanisms. Re-evaluate her clothing materials too. Opt for breathable fabrics like cotton and avoid clothes that may irritate skin further. If there's any significant worsening or signs of infection, it's crucial to consult with a pediatrician. Chronic rashes that recur despite treatments could necessitate a more in-depth examination to determine underlying causes. In any case, balancing Ayurvedic principles in diet and lifestyle should assist in alleviating many symptoms.
