Sir fissure has been healed . But morning after bowel movement after washing then I get more itching for 1 or 2 hours then it’s normal . Pls sir help me out to solve .

The itching sensations you’re experiencing can often be as bothersome as the fissure itself, and sometimes though not directly harmful, can affect day-to-day comfort. In Ayurveda, this might suggest an imbalance in the pitta dosha, possibly combined with some vata disturbance as well. Here’s a targeted approach using Ayurvedic principles to help address your symptoms and enhance healing.

Firstly, focus on incorporating more soothing and cooling elements into your daily routine. Begin with, diet, prioritizing pitta-pacifying foods. Consume more leafy greens, cucumbers, and zucchinis, which may help reduce internal heat. Try to avoid too much spicy food, caffeine, or fried items as they may aggravate pitta and increase the itching sensation.

Hydration, a key often overlooked, is essential. Drink plenty of warm water throughout the day, which can help in ensuring bowel movements are smooth, minimizing chances of irritation in the anal region. Staying hydrated helps maintain better skin integrity too, reducing dryness that can contribute to itching.

Applying Ayurvedic medicated oils can offer relief. Consider using jatyadi tailam or coconut oil, applying gently to affected area after cleansing post-bowel movement. These oils have cooling and healing properties. Ensure your application technique is gentle and always use clean hands or applicator to avoid any infection.

Certain herbs might be beneficial in balancing doshas internally and externally. Triphala, an excellent blend of three fruits, aid regular elimination and gut health. Use it at bedtime, stirred in warm water, to support digestive balance and vata stabilization.

In addition, regular practice of asanas enhancing blood circulation, like bhujangasana or malasana, could provide great benefits. Proper circulation can help reduce inflammation and promote tissue health. Practicing stress-reducing techniques like pranayama or meditation helps as stress might aggravate itching.

Of course, if the itching persists or worsens, consulting with a healthcare provider is key. Sometimes such symptoms relate to underlying conditions that can be better diagnosed with an examination. Keeping track of changes and improvements is also useful and ensuring any product or technique is suitable for your specific skin type or condition helps in managing symptoms effectively.

The persisting itching sensation you describe after your bowel movements could be tied to residual irritation or an imbalance in your body’s doshas, likely involving the vata and pitta doshas. Let’s address this from a Siddha-Ayurvedic perspective with actionable steps:

1. Dietary Adjustments: Avoid spicy, oily, and excessively sour foods as these can aggravate pitta and vata, worsening your symptoms. Focus on easily-digestible, warm meals with plenty of fresh vegetables, cooked to a soft consistency. Increase intake of cooling foods like cucumber, pumpkins, and pomegranate.

2. Herbal Remedies: Try applying aloe vera gel externally to soothe the area, as it has natural anti-inflammatory properties. You might also find Triphala beneficial; a teaspoon mixed with warm water can be taken at bedtime to support digestion and bowel regularity, balancing vata and pitta.

3. Hygiene and Care: Ensure the area remains clean and dry after each bowel movement. Pat, don’t rub, dry the area to prevent irritation. Use gentle herbal soaps, avoiding any harsh chemicals.

4. Practices for Balance: Daily abhyanga (oil massage) with warm sesame oil can be calming for vata, which may reduce skin sensitivity and discomfort. Light yoga or pranayama can also help rebalance energies and improve overall circulation.

5. Acute Concerns: If symptoms persist or worsen, especially itching becoming intense, consult with an Ayurvedic practitioner or a healthcare provider to rule out any underlying conditions like infection or allergy.

Please ensure any new practice suits your current health, avoiding harmful interactions with existing treatments. If more severe symptoms develop, consider more immediate medical attention.
