Yes at this stage of 14 months , above 1 yr. Of breastfeeding it is safe You start with dhanwantaram tablets 1-1-1 after food with water, depending on the severity of pain, if pain is less can take 1-0-1 after food with water Along with this tablet you can use dhanvantrum oil on affected area to apply.

Dhanwantharam Kwath Tablet is generally used in Ayurveda to support postnatal care and enhance recovery of the mother’s strength. It’s primarily known for its positive effects on vata dosha, and helps in strengthening muscles and promoting circulation. If you’re breastfeeding, it’s important to consider both the benefits and potential effects on your baby. While Dhanwantharam Kwath is traditionally regarded as safe during lactation, it’s crucial to consult with a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner before starting it. They will take into account your unique bodily constitution (prakriti), any existing dasha imbalances, and overall health status, ensuring it’s optimal for you and your child.

As for dosage, it generally depends on individual health conditions, constitution, and specific health goals, but a common dosage might be 1-2 tablets twice daily, after meals with warm water. However, precise dosage should be carefully tailored by an expert, as absorbing herbs through breastmilk requires a cautious approach. Keep an eye out for any changes in your baby’s digestion or overall health.

Besides supplementation, make sure your diet is nourishing. Hydration, consumption of warm cooked foods, and adequate rest are crucial during lactation. Incorporating easily digestible, vata-pacifying foods like cooked rice, ghee, milk, and frequent small meals can support recovery and maintain milk supply. Avoid heavy, oily, or very spicy foods.

Lastly, pay attention to your body’s response when starting new supplements and seek out medical assistance immediately if you notice any concerning symptoms. Consulting both an Ayurvedic and a conventional health provider may give you a balanced perspective on using this herbal supplement during breastfeeding.
