Anxiety, breathlessness, and increased urination can indeed disrupt your daily life. To address anxiety instantly, consider practicing Nadi Shodhana, or alternate nostril breathing, which calming your mind and nervous system. Sit comfortably, close your right nostril with your thumb and inhale deeply through the left nostril, then close it with your ring finger, open the right nostril and exhale. Repeat this for 5–10 cycles daily or when anxiety arises. This can provide immediate calmness.
For long-lasting effects, incorporating Ashwagandha in your daily regimen might be beneficial. This adaptogen supports stress management, balancing anxiety levels. I suggest taking it as a churna (powder) mixed with warm milk before bedtime or as per any prescribed dosage by a qualified practitioner. Consistency is key here.
On the breathlessness and slurred speech, these may be further exacerbated by Vata imbalance. Focus on establishing a Vata-pacifying routine — follow a regular meal time, ensure warm, cooked meals, and include grounding spices like ginger and cumin. Abhyanga (self-oil massage with warm sesame oil) every morning or before shower could help stabilize Vata and ease the tension, promoting calmness.
Regarding the increased urination, it might be related to Kapha and Pitta imbalance incited by cold fluids and seasonal changes. Stick to warm fluids, herbal teas like ginger or cinnamon water; they can help regulate your fluid metabolism, supporting proper digestion and assimilation. Avoid excessively cold drinks particularly in winters, as they aggravate doshas.
However, the sudden spike in urinary frequency should not be overlooked. If this persists, or if you experience any other concerning symptoms, consult a healthcare professional to rule out issues like diabetes or urinary tract infections. Immediate medical attention might be necessary, depending on any other underlying conditions you may have. Always prioritize your safety first.
