I've got candida, what can I do about it? Thank you🙏I have inflamation in my ligaments. What can I do about that? I thank you for your answers🙏 I guess that the two issues are conected?

Addressing candida and inflamed ligaments naturally involves a holistic approach, considering both your diet and lifestyle. Regarding candida, imbalanced pitta and kapha doshas might be involved. To help mitigate candida, consider adopting an anti-fungal diet, focusing on warm and easily digestible foods. Reduce sugar, refined carbs, yeasty foods, and alcohol—these can feed candida overgrowth. Emphasize green leafy vegetables, bitter melon, garlic, and ginger in meals, which can naturally reduce excess candida. Drink warm water with a pinch of turmeric and ginger to enhance digestion and reduce ama (toxic undigested material).

For ligament inflammation, Ayurvedic texts often highlight vata imbalance as a contributing factor. Try practicing regular oil massages with warm sesame oil or Mahanarayan oil, which can soothe vata and reduce inflammation. Incorporate gentle yoga stretches to maintain flexibility but avoid strenuous activities that may aggravate inflammation.

Curcumin, found in turmeric, is potent anti-inflammatory. Taking turmeric milk (golden milk) daily can help soothe inflammation. Mix one teaspoon of turmeric with warm milk and a pinch of black pepper, which aids in the absorption of curcumin.

Both conditions can relate to poor digestion or weakened agni. It’s important to eat mindfully, chewing thoroughly and avoiding food that’s processed or unseasonal. Sipping warm cumin-coriander-fennel tea throughout the day supports digestive balance.

Addressing lifestyle, ensure adequate sleep and stress management as stress and fatigue can exacerbate both candida and inflammation. Practicing meditation or deep breathing can help ground vata and enhance overall well-being.
