On the topical front, applying a paste made from sandalwood and camphor can provide relief. Both have cooling properties that soothe irritated skin while helping fight off the fungal growth. Creating this paste is simple: mix sandalwood powder with a small pinch of camphor and water; apply the mixture on affected areas and let it stay for about 20-30 minutes before rinsing off with lukewarm water.

Hygiene is critical, keep the affected area clean and dry. Avoid tight clothing and opt for cotton materials that allow your skin to breathe. Practice proper washing routines and change clothes regularly, particularly after sweating.

Triphala is another excellent remedy. It can be taken internally to aid digestion and cleanse the system of toxins. It is best consumed in powder form, one teaspoon with warm water before bed.

Be mindful of stress, as it affects your immune system. Incorporate relaxation techniques like meditation or yoga into your routine. Ensure you’re getting enough restful sleep, around 7-8 hours each night.
