Hello I‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ can really feel it through your words how frustrated you are. Being informed that you have coronary heart disease and feeling as if your doctors are not listening to you can really break your heart.

👉 Plaque in arteries cannot be “scraped away” instantly by any natural or medical method.

However, it is true – a plaque progression can be slowed, stabilized, and in some cases partially regressed over time with consistent lifestyle, diet, and metabolic correction. Ayurveda is very much centered around this root-level correction, not merely symptom control.

FIRST — A VERY IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE (PLEASE READ)

I understand your decision, but as a physician, I am compelled to say this very clearly:

Do not discontinue heart medicines that have been prescribed to you abruptly and without supervision

Some medicines (like antiplatelets or statins) are the ones that prevent a sudden heart attack, even if they don’t “remove plaque”

Ayurveda gives maximum effect when used along with medicines or gradually replacing them under monitoring, rather than going against your body.

👉 Natural methods are long-term repair, not emergency protection.

HOW PLAQUE FORMS (AYURVEDIC + MODERN VIEW)

Modern view:Inflammation + LDL oxidation + insulin resistance → plaque

Ayurvedic view:–Ama (toxic metabolic waste)–Meda dhatu dushti (fat metabolism disorder)–Srotorodha (blockage of channels)–Dominant Kapha + Vata imbalance

So treatment aims to: 1. Burn Ama 2. Correct fat metabolism 3. Reduce inflammation 4. Improve circulation & elasticity of vessels

WHAT YOU CAN REALISTICALLY ACHIEVE NATURALLY

- Stabilize plaque (make it less likely to rupture) - Reduce inflammation inside arteries - Improve blood flow & oxygen delivery - Improve cholesterol ratios - Reduce further plaque buildup

Instant removal = not possible (anyone claiming this is misleading you)

NATURAL & AYURVEDIC STRATEGY TO REDUCE ARTERIAL PLAQUE PROGRESSION

DIET — THIS IS 60% OF THE WORK You are already eating whole foods — that is very good 👍 Now make it more clear:

STRONGLY INCLUDE

Warm, freshly cooked food Oat, barley and millet product Steamed vegetables (especially leafy greens) Garlic (1–2 cloves a day, cooked) Turmeric + black pepper Flaxseeds (1 tbsp ground/day) Walnuts (2–3 daily) Pomegranate Olive oil / small amount of cow ghee

STRICTLY AVOID

Sugar (biggest plaque accelerator) White flour Fried foods Cheese/dairy in excess Cold foods & cold drinks Late-night eating

AYURVEDIC MEDICINES (SUPPORTIVE, NOT MIRACLE CLAIMS)

They do not replace emergency heart medicines but help plaque stabilization and metabolism.

1. Arjuna vati 1-0-1 after food -Supports heart muscle -Improves circulation -Reduces inflammation

2. Medohar guggulu 1-0-1 after food -Helps lipid metabolism -Reduces Ama -Not for everyone - needs supervision

3. Triphala 1 tsp at bed time with warm water -Improves digestion & toxin clearance -Reduces inflammatory load

MOVEMENT — DO NOT OVERDO

It is nice that you are already physically active.

Brisk walking cyling Light yog

❌ Do not perform extreme workouts, HIIT, sudden exertion Consistency > intensity.

STRESS & NERVOUS SYSTEM (VERY IMPORTANT)

Chronic stress is one of the main factors that directly worsen plaque instability Daily:10 minutes slow deep breathing Bhramari pranayama Good sleep (7–8 hrs)

HARD TRUTH (I SAY THIS WITH CARE) If someone tells you: Throw away all meds Ayurveda alone will clean arteries quickly

👉 They are not being honest. The safest way is: Stabilize now (with monitoring) Repair slowly (with lifestyle + Ayurveda) Reassess under medical guidance

You are not a fool — you are doubting, and that is smart. But please, do not use that intelligence to take risks.

You are entitled to clarity, not fear-based medicine

Warm regards, Dr Snehal ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌Vidhate

Reducing plaque in the arteries naturally through Ayurveda involves a careful balance of diet, lifestyle, and herbal support. In Ayurveda, coronary artery disease is often linked to imbalances of the doshas, particularly kapha and pitta. Focusing on balancing these can help support arterial health.

Starting with diet, incorporate foods that pacify pitta and kapha, which means you should focus on warm, light, and easily digestible meals. Opt for plenty of fruits and vegetables high in fiber; apples and berries could be beneficial. Reduce intake of processed foods, sugars, and heavy dairy products. Instead, opt for plant-based fats like avocados, nuts, and seeds that have beneficial omega-3 fatty acids. Regularly consume garlic and ginger, which are known for their blood-cleansing and anti-inflammatory properties.

Herbs such as Arjuna (Terminalia arjuna) are recommended for heart health in Ayurveda. It is traditionally used to strengthen cardiac muscles and improve circulation. You could take Arjuna in powdered form, typically 1 teaspoon mixed with warm water or milk twice a day. Consult a qualified herbalist or Ayurvedic practitioner before beginning new herbal regimens to ensure they are safe for your specific health context.

Pranayama, particularly Anulom Vilom and Ujjayi breathings techniques, enhance circulation and reduce stress levels, which is crucial for heart health. Daily practice for 10-15 minutes can have significant benefits.

Exercise cautiously but consistently; walking, yoga, and swimming are effective low-impact options. Focus on maintaining a healthy weight, as excess weight can aggravate kapha and intrude on cardiovascular efficiency.

Remember, regular monitoring by healthcare professionals is crucial, even if you choose natural interventions. Severe conditions like coronary heart disease require a careful balance between Ayurvedic and conventional medicinal approaches — an integrative strategy is often the safest path. Make sure any new health practice you undertake is aligned with your current health state and done under medical supervision if needed. If symptoms worsen or you feel unwell, seek immediate medical attention.

HELLO,

IMPORTANT REALITY CHECK= Once coronary plaque is established, no system- Ayurveda, nutrition, exercise, or modern medicine- can “scrape it out” quickly. What is possible is -stabilizing plaque (making it less likely to rupture) -slowing or partially regressing soft plaque -improving circulation and collateral vessels -reducing inflammation and blood stickiness

Ayurveda focuses strongly on these goals

AYURVEDIC UNDERSTANDING OF CORONARY HEART DISEASE In Ayurveda , coronary artery disease aligns with -hridroga -thickening of vessels -imbalance of kapha + meda dhatu with ama (toxins) accumulation -vata obstruction in channells

CORE CAUSES -heavy, oily, sticky foods -chronic stress (vata agravation) -poor digestion (agni mandya) -inflammation (ama)

AYURVEDIC TREATMENT PRINCIPLES Ayurveda does four things simultaneously -ama pachanga (detoxify metabolic waste) -medohara (reduce unhealthy lipids) -srotosodhana (clean channels) -hridya rasayana (strengthen heart tissue)

DIET (this is non negotiable) You already eat mostly whole foods- good. Now refine is therapeutically

STRICTLY AVOID -dairy (especially cheese, butter, curd) -fried foods -red meat -refined sugar -cold foods and drinks -late dinners

FAVOURED FOODS -warm, freshly cooked meals -barley , millets, oats -mung dal -steamed vegetables -garlic (daily) -onion (raw in small amount) -pomegranate -apples -turmeric + black pepper

COOKING OIL -small quantity of mustard oil or olive oil -avoid ghee for now (despite popular belief)

DAILY AYURVEDIC MEDICATION

MORNING (EMPTY STOMACH)

1) ARJUNA CHURNA= 3 gm with warm water = strengthen heart muscles, improves circulation

2) TRIPHALA CHURNA= 5gm at night with warm water =removes ama, supports lipid metabolism

AFTER BREAKFAST

3) MEDOHARA GUGGULU= 2 tabs twice daily =reduces plaque-forming lipids, improves vessel elasticity

AFTER LUNCH

4) ARJUNRISHTA= 20ml + equal water once daily = cardio tonic, improves coronary circulation

EVENING

5) GARLIC = 1-2 raw cloves OR -garlic capsule if raw not tolerated =mild blood thinner, anti inflammatory

PANCHAKARMA (if you are serious) If done properly under supervision -Virechana (therapeutic purgation) -Lekhana basti (medicated enemas) These are classically indicated for dhamani pratichaya

This is where Ayurveda can outperform casual natural tips"

YOGA AND BREATHING (VERY IMPORTANT)

DAILY (30-40 min) -brisk walking (not extreme cardio) -Pranayam= anulom vilom= 10 min -bhramari= 5 rounds -Avoid breathing holding

AVOID -heavy walking lifting -sudden intense HIIT -competitve endurance training

STRESS AND SLEEP (silent killers) -sleep by 10:30 Pm -no screens after 9 Pm -Ashwagandha only if anxiety is high (not always ideal in heart disease)

REALISTIC TIMELINE -3 months= inflammation reduces, circulation improves -6-12 months= lipid profile improves, plaque stabilisation -1-2 years= possible partial regression of soft plaques Anyone promising “clean arteries in weeks” is lying

VERY IMPORTANT WARNING Refusing all medication without -knowing your LDL, CRP, Calcium score -knowing plaque stabilit Can be dangerous. Ayurveda works best alongside monitoring , even if you decide drugs

At minimum, monitor -lipids profile -hs-CRP -blood pressure -symptoms (chest pain, breathlessness

Ayurveda can help significantly, but it demands -discipline -months to years -proper formulation (not random supplements)

DO FOLLOW

HOPE THIS MIGHT HELPFUL

THANK YOU

DR. MAITRI ACHARYA
