Your symptoms suggest an imbalance in Vata and Pitta doshas, leading to dry skin, dandruff, acne, and open pores. To address dryness, use natural moisturizers like coconut oil or aloe vera to hydrate the skin. For dandruff, a gentle scalp massage with neem oil or a blend of coconut oil and tea tree oil can help balance the scalp's condition. Avoid harsh chemical-based cosmetics and opt for natural skincare like turmeric, honey, and sandalwood to reduce acne and soothe inflammation. A diet rich in hydrating foods like cucumbers, leafy greens, and healthy fats (like ghee and nuts) will also help maintain skin moisture. Regularly practicing stress-reducing activities like yoga or pranayama can help balance both your mind and skin.

Namaste Shubhangi ji, For dry skin, acne, dandruff, and open pores, Ayurveda recommends the following: For Skin (Dryness, Acne, Open Pores): Face Care: Apply Kumkumadi Tailam at night for acne and hydration. Use a face pack of Multani Mitti, Rose Water, and a pinch of Turmeric twice a week. Wash your face with Neem and Tulsi-based herbal cleanser. Internal Remedies: Take Mahamanjishthadi Kwath or Gandhak Rasayan for blood purification and skin glow. Consume Aloe Vera juice and Amla juice daily on an empty stomach. Moisturizer: Use pure almond oil or Aloe Vera gel for hydration. For Hair (Dryness, Dandruff): Oil Massage: Apply Neelibhringadi Taila or Coconut Oil infused with Neem and Lemon juice to the scalp. Massage 2-3 times a week to reduce dandruff. Herbal Hair Wash: Use Shikakai and Reetha powder instead of chemical shampoos. Internal Care: Take Triphala Churna at bedtime to cleanse toxins. Tiktaka Ghrita can be taken under guidance for deep skin and hair nourishment. Diet and Lifestyle: Include ghee, almonds, and hydrating foods in your diet. Avoid fried, spicy, and processed foods. Drink plenty of water and practice Sheetali Pranayama for cooling the body. Consistency with these remedies will help balance your skin and hair issues. Dhanyavad!

Ah, dealing with dry skin, acne, and dandruff – I get it, it can be really bothersome. Don't worry, we'll dive into some Ayurvedic ways to help balance things out. Let's start with the skin. Dryness and acne can be a sign of Vata-Pitta imbalance. With dry skin, try massaging your face with a little bit of sesame oil before showering. Sesame oil's warming and nourishing properties can help hydrate the skin deeply. For acne, a paste made of sandalwood powder and rose water applied to the face can be cooling and soothing. Allow it to sit for about 15 minutes, then rinse gently. Also, try avoiding heavy or oily cosmetics on your face. They can clog pores and worsen acne. Instead, look for light, natural products, possibly ones with ingredients like aloe vera or turmeric. Now, about the hair. Scalp dryness and dandruff could relate to an aggravated Vata dosha, so regular oil massage might help here. Coconut oil or almond oil are great choices; massage it into your scalp around twice a week, leaving it on for about half an hour before washing it out. Neem leaves can be boiled in water to make a natural rinsing water for your hair; neem's antibacterial properties might help with dandruff too. Regarding open pores on your cheeks, a toner made from rose water or cucumber water can work wonders. Dab a bit on your face after washing, and let it air dry before moisturizing. Diet also matters big time. Eat plenty of fresh fruits and veggies, things like cucumbers, carrots, and beets can be especially helpful. Drink enough water to keep hydrated, and cut back on spicy, fried, or packaged foods which can aggravate Pitta and lead to more skin troubles. Finally, keep a little bit of sun exposure but not too much. Just few minutes a day is beneficial for the skin, but protecting your skin from harsh sun is important too, so maybe a hat or natural sunscreen when outside. Remember, it can take a bit of time to see improvements, so try to be patient with yourself. If conditions persist or worsen, consider consulting a professional Ayurvedic doctor who can offer personalized advice based on your individual Prakriti (constitution).
