According to Ayurveda, your thyroid swelling (goiter) is due to an imbalance in Kapha and Vata, leading to slow metabolism and tissue buildup. Treatment focuses on restoring balance through herbal medicines, diet correction, and lifestyle changes rather than just suppressing symptoms. Herbs like Kanchanar, Guggulu, and Ashwagandha may help reduce swelling and support thyroid function, along with proper digestion and detoxification. –Diagnosis (Ayurveda): Kaphaja Galaganda with Vata Anubandha —Rx: 1) Kanchanar Guggulu 2 tabs BD after meals with lukewarm water 2) Varunadi Kashayam 15 ml + 15 ml water, BD before meals 3) Trikatu Churna 2 gm BD with honey before meals 4) Punarnava mandoor 250 mg BD after meals 5) soaked dhaniya water empty stomach ----Diet & Lifestyle (Pathya-Apathya): Avoid: Curd, cold foods, cabbage, cauliflower, soy excess ----Prefer: Warm, light, easily digestible food Use iodized salt in moderation Regular exercise, avoid day sleep —Follow-up: Review after 4 weeks with thyroid profile & USG if needed

god bless you,have good health

Thyroid nodules with mild goiter should be monitored regularly, especially if there is gradual enlargement or family history. In Ayurveda, this condition is often related to imbalance of Kapha and Vata affecting the throat region and metabolism. Common Ayurvedic Supportive Medicines Kanchanar Guggulu – traditionally used for thyroid swelling/nodules Varunadi Kashayam or Punarnava-based formulations – help reduce glandular congestion Triphala at night if digestion/metabolism is sluggish Helpful Lifestyle & Diet: Avoid excessive processed food, cold foods, and stress Use warm, light meals and maintain regular exercise

In Ayurveda, this specific condition is known as Galaganda. It is caused when dense Kapha energy and Meda Dhatu (fat/fibrous tissue) accumulate and localize in the neck region, forming a slow-growing nodule. Because you have a strong family history, your body has a genetic predisposition to this localized accumulation. Since your hormones are functioning perfectly, we do not need to use medications that alter thyroid function; instead, we need targeted therapies that physically scrape and shrink the localized fibrous tissue. ✓Ayurvedic Action Plan Our goal is to induce a Lekhana (scraping) action to reduce the size of the mild goiter and prevent the nodules from growing any further. 1. Kanchanar Guggulu Dosage: 2 tablets twice a day. Time: 30 minutes after your lunch and dinner. Vehicle: A glass of warm water. 2. Varunadi Kwath Dosage: 15 ml of the decoction mixed with 15 ml of normal water. Time: Taken alongside the Kanchanar Guggulu twice a day. ✓Crucial Care Rules Continue Annual Monitoring: Because you have a family history and the goiter has worsened slightly since 2019, you must continue your yearly ultrasound and thyroid blood panel (TSH, Free T3, Free T4). The Ayurvedic herbs will work on shrinking the mass, but we need clinical imaging to accurately track the progress. Avoid Raw Goitrogens: You must strictly avoid eating raw cruciferous vegetables like cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, and kale, as well as unfermented soy products. These foods contain goitrogens, which are compounds that can physically enlarge a goiter. If you eat them, they must be thoroughly cooked, which destroys the goitrogenic effect. Ujjayi Pranayama: Practice this specific “ocean breath” yoga technique for 10 minutes every morning. It involves creating a slight constriction in the back of your throat as you breathe. This physical friction creates a subtle vibration and localized heat that directly increases blood circulation to the thyroid gland, aiding the herbs in penetrating the nodular tissue. Hello, Your case is relatively early and manageable - that’s good sign Thyroid nodules + mild goiter with -no major symptoms -good energy -stable weight This usually means -likely benign + slow growing condition -can often be managed conservatively First important point -before starting any treatment Ensure -thyroid profile (TSH,T3,T4) -ultrasound follow up -FNAC If everything is benign -> Ayurveda can help reduce progression Ayurvedic view -Condition similar to Galaganda (thyroid swelling) -caused by= kapha accumulation (nodules), vata (irregular growth pattern) Goal -reduce nodules -balance thyroid function -prevent enlargement Internal medication 1) Main medicine most important -Kanchanar guggulu= 2 tabs twice daily after meals =best for thyroid nodules + goiter 2) Metabolism + gland support -Varunadi kashayam= 15ml with warm water twice daily after meals =reduces glandular swelling 3) Thyroid balancing support -Punarnava mandur= 1 tab twice daily after meals =reduces swelling + improves metabolism 4) If stress component present -Ashwagandha capsules= 1 cap twice daily with warm milk =supports endocrine balance Diet very important -iodine-balanced foods not excess -cooked vegetables -whole grains Avoid -excess soy -processed foods -very cold foods -excess cabbage/cauliflower (raw) Lifestyle -regular exercise you’re already active -stress control important for thyroid -proper sleep Expected result -2-3 months= stabilization -3-6 months= possible reduction in size -regular monitoring required Consult immediately if -rapid increase in size -difficulty swallowing -voice change Your condition Early stage thyroid nodules with mild goiter Best approch -regular monitoring -ayurvedic medications -diet + stress balance Do follow Hope this might be helpful Thank you
