Ayurveda, heavy bleeding due to uterine fibroids is often related to aggravated Pitta and Rakta dosha affecting the uterus (Garbhashaya), along with hormonal imbalance during the perimenopausal stage. Yes, Ashoka tea can be supportive because Ashoka is a well-known Ayurvedic herb for: reducing excessive uterine bleeding, strengthening the uterine muscles, and balancing female hormones naturally. However, in your case, the bleeding is described as very heavy with fatigue, so Ashoka tea alone may not be sufficient. Ayurvedic Suggestions Ashoka tea/decoction: 1 cup once or twice daily after meals. Common Ayurvedic formulations often advised: Ashokarishta Lodhra Nagkesar Praval Pishti These are traditionally used to help control prolonged bleeding and improve weakness caused by blood loss. Diet & Care Include pomegranate, black raisins, dates, beetroot, and iron-rich foods. Avoid spicy, sour, fried, and very hot foods as they may aggravate bleeding. Take adequate rest and maintain hydration. Important Since you are: soaking through quickly, bleeding for around 10 days, and feeling very low in energy, please continue close follow-up with your gynecologist and monitor hemoglobin levels. Do not discontinue prescribed medicines early without medical advice.
