Triphala Ghee - #6278
I recently heard about triphala ghee and its benefits, but I’m not entirely sure how it works or whether it’s suitable for my health issues. I’ve been dealing with chronic constipation and occasional acidity for years. Someone suggested that triphala ghee could help regulate digestion and also improve energy levels. From what I understand, triphala ghee is made by combining ghee with triphala, which is a mix of three Ayurvedic fruits. Does this combination really work better than taking regular triphala powder or capsules? I’m also curious if it has any other benefits beyond digestion. For instance, does it help with skin issues or immunity, which I’ve also been struggling with? I’ve been hesitant to try it because I’m not sure how to use it properly. Should triphala ghee be taken in the morning, or is it better at night before bed? Do you need to take it on an empty stomach for it to work, or can it be mixed into food? If there’s a specific dosage or way to use it, I’d like to know. Another question is about its compatibility with different body types. I think I have a pitta imbalance because I often feel heat and irritation, especially in my stomach area. Is triphala ghee safe for pitta types, or does it aggravate heat further? If not, are there other versions of ghee or triphala that are better suited for me? Lastly, I’m wondering if there are any side effects. Can taking too much triphala ghee lead to any problems like diarrhea or weight gain? I’d appreciate any advice on how to incorporate it safely into my routine.
