Remedy for Sinus
I experience chronic sinusitis and want to explore Ayurvedic remedies. What natural treatments can help relieve sinus pressure and improve my breathing? Are there specific practices I should try?
What is the best Ayurvedic medicine for throat pain and infection?
I’ve been struggling with a sore throat for the past few days, and it just won’t go away. I’ve tried some over-the-counter throat lozenges, but I’m looking for a natural solution. Can anyone suggest the best Ayurvedic medicine for throat pain and infections? I’ve heard that herbs like Tulsi, Licorice, and Honey can help soothe the throat and reduce inflammation. Is there an Ayurvedic syrup or tablet that combines these herbs for better results? Also, is it better to take these remedies as teas or use them topically as throat gargles? I’ve read that Triphala can also help with throat infections. Is it safe to use for children? If anyone has used Ayurvedic medicine for throat issues, please share your experience! What remedies worked best for you, and how quickly did you feel relief? Any specific brands or products you’d recommend?
Why does my ear block without any wax ?
Last few months my ear are so heavy and whistling sometimes. I cleaned my ear but still it’s feel heavy sometimes & not concentrating my mind .
Gojihva
I came across the herb gojihva while reading about Ayurvedic remedies for sore throat and respiratory issues. It seems like gojihva is used for clearing phlegm and soothing the throat. For the last few weeks, I’ve had a persistent cough and a scratchy throat that just won’t go away. Is gojihva a good option for this? From what I’ve read, gojihva has anti-inflammatory properties and is good for balancing kapha dosha. Does it work quickly for throat issues, or do you need to take it for a while to see results? I’ve seen gojihva mentioned in some herbal teas and syrups too. Should I look for those, or is it better to take gojihva as a standalone herb? Also, are there any side effects of gojihva? I’m a bit sensitive to strong herbs, so I want to be careful before trying it. Has anyone used gojihva for respiratory problems or other health issues? How did you take it, and what was your experience?
What Are the Functions of Tonsils, and When Should They Be Removed?
I recently started having recurring throat infections, and my doctor mentioned that my tonsils might be inflamed. From what I understand, tonsils are small lymphoid tissues in the throat that help fight infections, but why do some people develop chronic tonsillitis? I read that tonsils trap bacteria and viruses, but sometimes they themselves become infected, leading to swelling, pain, and difficulty swallowing. How do you know when tonsillitis requires medical treatment, and when is tonsil removal (tonsillectomy) necessary? One thing that concerns me is whether removing the tonsils weakens the immune system. If they are a part of the body’s defense mechanism, how does the body compensate after tonsillectomy? Are there any Ayurvedic or natural treatments that help with tonsil infections and inflammation? I’ve heard that turmeric milk, honey, and Mulethi (licorice) are great for soothing sore throats—do these actually work? If anyone has experienced tonsil infections, what treatments helped the most? Did home remedies, antibiotics, or surgery work better?
Nasya Oil Benefits Ayurveda
Lately, I’ve been struggling with constant sinus congestion and headaches, especially in the mornings. My nose feels stuffy, and I have difficulty breathing through it, which leads to feeling sluggish throughout the day. A friend recommended nasya oil to me, saying it’s great for clearing up the sinuses and balancing the nasal passages. I’ve never tried nasya oil before, but I’ve heard about the nasya oil benefits in Ayurveda and am curious about whether it could help with my current issues. I’ve been reading a bit about nasya oil and its benefits in Ayurveda, and it sounds promising for things like sinus relief and even improving mental clarity. My main concern is how effective it actually is. How does nasya oil work to relieve sinus problems and headaches? Does it really help clear up the nasal passages as my friend said? I’ve been using saline sprays and nasal decongestants, but nothing seems to give me long-lasting relief, so I wonder if nasya oil would work better. Another thing I’m curious about is the application. I’ve seen people say they use nasya oil every morning, but I’m not sure how to apply it properly. Should I use a few drops in each nostril or is there a different technique for best results? And what exactly does nasya oil do once it’s in the nose—how long does it take to feel its benefits? Does it work right away, or do you have to use it consistently for a few days or weeks to see the full effects? I also heard that nasya oil is helpful for clearing the mind and improving focus. I’ve been feeling mentally foggy a lot lately, and I’m wondering if the nasya oil benefits go beyond just physical relief. Could it help with the mental fatigue I’ve been dealing with, or should I combine it with other Ayurvedic remedies for better focus? I’d like to know what specific ingredients are usually in nasya oil too. Is it all-natural, or are there any ingredients I should be cautious of? I’ve seen a few brands at the local store but don’t know which one to choose. How do you know which nasya oil is best suited for your needs? Lastly, are there any side effects I should be aware of when using nasya oil? I’ve heard it’s generally safe, but I just want to be sure there are no negative reactions, especially since I have sensitive skin.
