My main problem is inside my throat. My voice breaks when I speak loudly. My throat itches sometimes. Sometimes I have trouble breathing. I take Montelukast 10, Fexo 120, and it is a little less. It seems to be inflammation inside the airway. I have a reaction in my throat to a strong smell. I cannot pray during prayer. I have problems with my throat. When I overdo it, it is difficult to even speak. My airway becomes narrow. It is difficult to prostrate. I have lost about 15 kg of weight. I wake up at night, my heart palpitations increase. I had an endoscopy done on my throat and no problems were found. Hbs-ag positive HBV DNA PCR undetected.

Dust allergy

Is dust allergy can be cured?? My husband since 2008..he is taking homepathy tablet.......,...................

Dust allergy can often be managed but may not be entirely "cured," as it depends on the body's immune response. In Ayurveda, dust allergies are linked to an imbalance in Kapha and Vata doshas. Therapies like Nasya (nasal detox), regular steam inhalation with medicated herbs, and strengthening immunity through diet and lifestyle can help reduce symptoms over time. Using Ayurvedic herbs like Haridra (turmeric), Tulsi (holy basil), and Sitopaladi churna may also help. Complementing homeopathy with these approaches, under proper guidance, might improve your husband's condition.

An Ayurvedic Medicine

1 answers

I’ve been dealing with chronic headaches and sinus congestion for years now, and nothing I’ve tried so far has given me lasting relief. I’m now considering trying an Ayurvedic medicine for this, but I’m completely new to Ayurveda and unsure where to start. Can you suggest an Ayurvedic medicine that might help with my symptoms? My headaches are pretty regular – I get them almost daily, and they’re usually worse in the mornings. They feel heavy, like there’s pressure building up in my forehead and around my nose. I’ve also had sinus issues for as long as I can remember, with constant congestion and a blocked nose that makes it hard to breathe sometimes. I’ve tried steam inhalation and nasal sprays, but they only provide temporary relief. That’s why I’m thinking an Ayurvedic medicine might be better since it focuses on the root cause. From what I’ve read, Ayurveda treats headaches and sinus problems differently based on the doshas. But how do I know which dosha imbalance is causing my issue? Would an Ayurvedic medicine like Chyawanprash or Trikatu be good for this? Or is there something else that’s more specific to sinus congestion and headaches? Another thing I’m curious about is how to take an Ayurvedic medicine. Do I need to change my diet or routine while taking it? For example, I’ve heard that avoiding cold foods is important for sinus problems, but I don’t know if that’s necessary for everyone. And are there any side effects I should be aware of when starting an Ayurvedic medicine? Also, do Ayurvedic medicines take a long time to show results? I’m not expecting an overnight cure, but I want to know if I’ll need to take them for weeks or months before noticing a difference. If you have any recommendations for an Ayurvedic medicine that’s effective and safe, I’d really appreciate it.

For chronic headaches and sinus congestion, Ayurveda offers a range of remedies that can help address the root causes, focusing on balancing the doshas and improving overall respiratory health. If your headaches are frequent and associated with pressure in the forehead and nasal congestion, it could indicate an imbalance in Pitta or Kapha doshas. Ayurvedic treatments like Chyawanprash (which boosts immunity and detoxifies the body) or Trikatu (a blend of black pepper, ginger, and long pepper) can help clear congestion and promote circulation. Specific remedies for sinus issues include Sitopaladi Churna, a formula that helps with mucus and congestion, and Anu Taila, an herbal oil used for nasal drops to clear blockages. In addition to medicine, Ayurveda emphasizes lifestyle adjustments like avoiding cold, heavy foods, staying warm, and practicing daily nasal irrigation with neti pot. While results vary, Ayurvedic treatments generally require consistent use over several weeks to show noticeable improvements. Make sure to consult an Ayurvedic practitioner to identify the root cause and receive personalized advice. Be aware of any potential side effects, though they are generally rare with properly prescribed treatments.

Eustachian Tube - How Can Ayurveda Help with Ear Pressure and Blockage?

2 answers

For the past few weeks, I’ve been dealing with a strange fullness and pressure in my ears that just won’t go away. It started after a mild cold, and at first, I thought it would clear up on its own, but now it feels like my ears are always blocked. Sometimes, I hear crackling sounds when I swallow, and other times, my hearing feels muffled like I’m underwater. The doctor told me it could be a problem with my Eustachian tube, which is supposed to help regulate ear pressure, but mine might be blocked due to mucus buildup or inflammation. They suggested nasal sprays, but I want to explore Ayurveda for a more natural solution. I’ve read that Ayurveda connects ear health with Vata and Kapha imbalances. Could excess Kapha (mucus) be causing this Eustachian tube blockage? If so, what herbs or treatments can help clear the congestion naturally? I’ve heard that Nasya therapy (putting oil in the nose) can help with sinus issues—would it also work for an Eustachian tube problem? Another issue I’ve noticed is that I feel slightly dizzy when I move my head too fast. Could this mean that my Eustachian tube blockage is affecting my balance? Are there Ayurvedic remedies that help restore equilibrium while reducing ear pressure? My digestion has also been sluggish, and I’ve read that undigested food and toxin buildup (Ama) can lead to excess mucus in the body. Could weak digestion be worsening my Eustachian tube issues? Would detoxifying herbs or specific dietary changes help? If anyone has experienced Eustachian tube problems and successfully treated them with Ayurveda, I’d love to hear what worked. Are there certain oils, herbs, or breathing techniques that helped relieve the blockage? Also, how long does it take to see improvement with Ayurvedic remedies, and are there things I should avoid that might be making it worse?

Your symptoms suggest an imbalance of Kapha (excess mucus) blocking the Eustachian tubes, possibly aggravated by weak digestion (low Agni) and Vata imbalance affecting ear function. Ayurveda recommends Nasya therapy with Anu Taila or warm sesame oil to clear nasal congestion and improve drainage. Steam inhalation with eucalyptus or ajwain can help liquefy mucus, and gentle ear massage with warm oil (like Bilva or Karpuradi Taila) may improve circulation. Herbal remedies like Trikatu (ginger, black pepper, and long pepper) can enhance digestion and reduce excess Kapha, while Sitopaladi Churna supports respiratory health. Drinking warm water with honey and turmeric can help clear mucus naturally. Dizziness may indicate Vata disturbance, so practices like Shirodhara (pouring warm oil on the forehead) and Brahmi or Ashwagandha intake can restore balance. Avoid cold, heavy foods, dairy, and excessive screen time, which can worsen congestion. With consistent Ayurvedic practices, relief can be seen within a few weeks, but results vary depending on the severity of blockage and digestive health.

How to reduce from throat sore, plum cough

From last two days in night time suffering with too much plum cough, throat pain.while coughing pains in comming from head nerves and chest musles, I am unable to sleep also. I need to get remedy from this

Hello Vasu, It looks like you have an aggravated Kapha imbalance causing excessive phlegm, throat irritation, and muscle strain from continuous coughing. Do you also have fever, body aches, or nasal congestion? Is the mucus thick and yellowish/greenish or clear? Have you eaten cold, heavy, or dairy-based foods recently that may have worsened phlegm production? Do you feel dryness in your throat or a burning sensation while coughing? For relief, start drinking warm water infused with ginger, turmeric, and honey to soothe the throat and reduce mucus. Take Sitopaladi Churna (1 teaspoon) with honey twice a day to ease congestion. Steam inhalation with tulsi leaves or eucalyptus oil can help loosen phlegm. Avoid cold drinks, dairy, and heavy foods. Gargle with warm salt water or ginger decoction for throat pain. If symptoms persist, let me know for a more detailed Ayurvedic plan.

What Are the Different Types of Nasya, and Which One is Best for My Sinus Problems

1 answers

I’ve been dealing with chronic sinus issues—constant congestion and occasional headaches—and after trying nasal sprays with no real improvement, I heard about Nasya as a possible solution. I know it’s an Ayurvedic therapy where herbal oils are used in the nose, but I’m not sure which type of Nasya is right for me. I’ve read about different types like Pratimarsha Nasya and Shamana Nasya, but I’m confused about which one I should try for sinus relief.

Nasya is an Ayurvedic therapy that uses herbal oils or powders through the nostrils to relieve sinus issues like congestion and headaches. There are two main types of Nasya: 1. Pratimarsha Nasya: What it is: A gentle treatment using a small amount of herbal oil. Best for: Vata imbalances, dry or irritated sinuses, and daily maintenance of nasal health. It’s ideal for preventing congestion and dryness. 2. Shamana Nasya: What it is: A stronger treatment to clear excess Kapha (mucus) from the sinuses. Best for: Kapha imbalances, excess mucus, sinus congestion, and headaches. It helps clear blocked sinuses and reduces mucus buildup. Which Nasya to Choose? For mucus-related congestion and sinus headaches, Shamana Nasya is best. For dryness or irritation, Pratimarsha Nasya is more suitable. Caution: Consult an Ayurvedic practitioner to ensure the right treatment and herbs for your condition.
