Hi Preethi, 1. Do you feel any burning sensation or acidity in your chest, especially after eating certain foods? 2. Are you experiencing any difficulty with digestion, bloating, or gas after meals? 3. How is your sleep—do you have trouble lying down or feel discomfort when sleeping?

Dear Preethi, Your symptoms of chest pain, throat pain, and difficulty swallowing suggest severe GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease). Since you’re still in pain despite taking Omez and Bastin-M, here are some additional suggestions to help relieve your discomfort: Diet & Lifestyle Changes: 1. Avoid trigger foods – Spicy, oily, acidic, and caffeinated foods (coffee, tea, carbonated drinks) can worsen reflux. 2. Eat small, frequent meals – Large meals increase acid reflux. 3. Don’t lie down immediately after eating – Wait at least 2-3 hours before sleeping. 4. Sleep with your head elevated – Use a pillow to keep your head slightly raised. 5. Stay hydrated – Sip warm water frequently, but avoid drinking large amounts at once. 6. Reduce stress – Practice deep breathing, yoga, or meditation. 1. Amla (Indian Gooseberry) – Take 1 tsp amla juice with honey twice a day to soothe the throat. 2. Licorice (Mulethi) tea – Helps coat the throat and reduce acidity. Boil licorice root in water and drink it warm. 3. Coriander water – Soak 1 tsp coriander seeds overnight in water and drink in the morning. 4. Aloe vera juice – Drink 1tbsp aloe vera juice before meals to reduce acidity. 5. Jeera (cumin) water – Boil 1 tsp cumin in water and sip after meals for digestion.
