Why it’s happening: PCOS causes hormonal imbalance, especially high androgens & insulin resistance, which disturbs ovulation and period flow.

Ayurvedic & Herbal Remedies:

Ashokarishta – balances hormones, improves flow. (15ml twice a day)

Kumaryasava – supports uterine health.(15ml twice daily empty stomach)

Triphala Tablet- two tablets at night with warm water

Diet Tips:

Avoid dairy, sugar, maida, and cold foods.

Eat warm, cooked foods with ghee.

Include: flaxseeds, sesame seeds (good for estrogen balance), cinnamon, fenugreek.


2. Weight Loss & Belly Fat Reduction

Belly fat in PCOS is mainly due to insulin resistance and slow metabolism.

Daily Routine:

Empty stomach: Warm water + lemon + 1 pinch cinnamon + honey.

Walk or yoga daily – 30 mins brisk walk or Surya Namaskar (start with 5 rounds).

Avoid long gaps in meals; eat every 3-4 hrs.

Fat-burning Foods:

Green tea with ginger or mint

Jeera-water (boil 1 tsp jeera in 1 glass water)

Methi dana (soaked overnight)

Apple cider vinegar before meals (optional)
