I am really struggling with my dry skin lately and I heard about multani mitti. I read that it's great for skin whitening, but honestly, I'm not sure how to use it or if it actually works. I tried it once but my face felt tight and I got a bit scared. My skin is like super dry on the cheeks and I feel like it just makes things worse. I also noticed some dark patches here and there, which adds to my frustration. Can someone tell me how to use multani mitti for dry skin whitening? Like, how often should I use it? What should I mix it with? I don’t want my face to feel all cracked, that’s just not cute at all. And hey, does anyone have tips on how to hydrate after using it? I would love to hear any DIY masks or recipes! Ugh, my skincare routine is such a mess but I’m really searching for something that actually works. Thnx!

Here’s a simple face pack you can try: take two tablespoons of multani mitti and mix it with one tablespoon of yogurt. The yogurt is soothing and has lactic acid, helping with mild exfoliation and brightening skin over time. For an extra hydration boost, add honey—a natural humectant keeping your skin soft and retaining moisture.

Apply this mixture on clean skin, and keep for about 10-15 minutes. You don’t want it to dry completely, as letting it get too dry can lead to more tightness. Rinse it off with lukewarm water, and follow up with a gentle moisturizer suitable for dry skin. Coconut or almond oil can be used immediately after rinsing to lock in moisture.

Regarding how often, start with once a week, and see how your skin responds. If you find it beneficial without drying your skin too much, you can increase to twice a week. Make sure to listen to your skin—important rule!
