Hair fall and early greying at the age of 43 are commonly linked with Pitta imbalance, stress, weak digestion, low iron levels (anemia), and poor nourishment of hair roots in Ayurveda. Since you also have fatigue and low iron intake, improving blood and nutrition is very important. Advice: Take an iron-rich diet daily: black raisins, dates, pomegranate, beetroot, sesame seeds, jaggery, spinach, and green vegetables. Include Amla (Indian gooseberry) regularly — it is one of the best Ayurvedic remedies for hair growth and premature greying. Drink warm water and improve digestion, because weak digestion reduces nutrient absorption. Helpful Ayurvedic Remedies: Bhringraj and Amla capsules/churna help strengthen hair roots and reduce greying. Lohasava or Ayurvedic iron preparations may help anemia naturally. Gentle scalp massage with Bhringraj oil or coconut oil infused with curry leaves 3–4 times weekly improves scalp circulation and nourishment. Wash hair with mild herbal shampoo and avoid excessive heat, chemical colors, and stress. Lifestyle Tips: Sleep properly and avoid late nights. Practice yoga/pranayama like Anulom-Vilom for stress control. Take protein-rich foods such as moong, paneer, nuts, and seeds for better hair strength. With regular care, improvement in hair fall is usually seen within 2–3 months, while greying can be slowed and hair quality improved gradually. It is also advisable to check Hemoglobin, Ferritin, Vitamin D, Vitamin B12, and Thyroid levels, as deficiencies commonly worsen hair fall in women after 40.
