I am really struggling to figure out if black henna good for hair or if it’s just one of those beauty myths. Some friends told me it's awesome and makes your hair shiny and all, but I came across some horror stories online about it causing damage. Like last year, I used a black henna product before a wedding, and I honestly thought it looked great at first, but then my scalp started itching and my hair felt super dry. It was def not a great look! Now I’m kinda paranoid about trying it again. I keep reading conflicting info about black henna good for hair or not. Do you all think it can actually improve hair health or is it more of a gamble? I really want to find something that won't mess up my hair again. Plus, where do you even get the legit stuff? I've seen some products in stores and really wonder if these are safe or just a scam. Any advice from the experts would be much appreciated!
