Eyesight gets poor with age. How can Ayurveda help to keep them normal by following healthy lifestyle , exercise and ayurvedic diet and drugs ? Dry eyes, itching in the eyes, reducing eyesight are the symptoms. Putting eye drops gives temporary relief. Already taking trifala with ghee at night.

Apply every night cow’s ghee inside the eyes Put cucumber rinds on closed eyes keep for 10 minutes Soak cotton Ball in Rose water and apply on closed eyes for 10 minutes. Go to nearby ayurvedic centre and consult with doctor for treatment of netra Tarpan. Do eye rotation exercises, Tratak,gazing exercises daily. Avoid too much use of screen.

Firstly, consider introducing more cooling and hydrating foods to your diet. Pitta-calming foods like cucumber, watermelon, and aloe vera juice could be beneficial. Ensure you’re hydrated — water, in its simple but profound role, supports overall wellness, including eye moisture balance.

Eye-exercises are key to strengthening the eye muscles. Do palming (rubbing your palms together to create heat and then placing them over your closed eyes) for a few minutes daily. It helps in relieving eye strain and enhancing circulation around the eyes.
